I watched this on C-Span, I found it to be interesting.
If I could see in to the future I would say that Tucker is Actually the face of the Republican party in a few Years down the road.
Is Tucker wearing white pants after Labor Day? Where's Kathleen Turner when we need her (Serial Mom).
Poor Tucker, Arianna gazed upon Tucker tenderly as he spoke. Arianna spoke to Tucker sweetly. She gave Tucker a verbal, virtual rubdown with her supple hands in velvet gloves. One thinks of Eartha Kitt singing "Santa, Baby", the verse, "...let me rub you down with a velvet glove...", as she tenderly reduces him to a stammering child. Poor, Tucker, please, somebody have a glass of warm milk ready for Tucker when he tries to match Arianna's wit with his wit. It was not a battle of wits for Arianna is a gallant lady; she refuses to battle the unarmed with her sharp wit. I think that is an European trait.
I can see Arianna tucking Tucker into bed as he stumbles to bed in a daze after trying to match his wits with Arianna's wit. Arianna is always gracious. Poor, Tucker.
The difference as she points out is that Bill OReilly lies to make his case, whereas Keith may not always be right in his opinion, but he does try to stick with facts. Simple.
I love Arianna. I dislike Tucker Carlson intensely and always have. HOWEVER, in this one case, I think he's right. A NEWS show should have an impartial newsman. It should ALSO have Keith Olbermann on one side and perhaps Tucker Carlson on the other. But a "Walter Cronkite" should "front" the news. Someone who keeps his biases in check, and on hold for the duration of the broadcast. Otherwise, as TC points out, we're CHANGING the news into something else all together. And he's also correct that it's being done for ratings. Other than this small slice of what he says, I HATE EVERYTHING HE STANDS FOR. But it just goes to show his point, that sometimes the "other" side does have something worhwhile to add to the debate.
Ms. Huffington is an elitist and a narrow minded liberal. Can someone please refer me to the dates and times of the debates we as a nation held on the global warming issue? I have heard but one view being tauted by the left and yet there is a lot of data that disputes some of the "facts" that most libs. swallow whole. Plus, I believe Mr. Carlson was advocating for a "Tim Russert" type of television journalism and not an ideological ratings match between left and right. Ms. Huff. just didn't want to accept the premis because she does not agree that the right has any valid opinions. Boring.
Way to go, Arianna!
Somebody's got to take on The Ministry of Propaganda, and the lazy-ass prima donnas in the MSM sure aren't going to do it.
There are two main points here. First, the journalists are part of the republican ideologue machine where ideology determined hiring at Justice at State, at Interior, at Energy. They spent the last 8 years only hiring ideologues and they don't like being called on it. Second, Objectivity isn't hard it is a myth. By choosing which questions to ask and by choosing which questions to not ask you are making a choice. Now if you completely ignorant of the issues then you can be objective but if you are knowledgeable then you ask questions that lead to a conclusion. You can't help it. To argue for Objectivity from the position of Fox news is insane. The nature of the network is ideological. They hate Keith Oberman because he challenges them successfully.

That sounds like it is straight out of Harry Potter...."the Ministry of Propaganda". You've hit the proverbial nail on the head.
Um...he was armed.
Not with wits..(that was Danny's punchline)
Too bad she came unarmed too.
I find it most difficult to believe anyone would watch or listen to Olbermann OR O'Reilly!
It is a total waste of your time if you are interested in the facts. Their opinion's are worthless.
Well said there Majorette! I take then that you get your 'facts' from a legitimate source? I would guess Oprah & The View.
wasn't tucker on crossfire? and MSNBC is just a counter for FoxNews
he WAS crossfire, and to have him parroting the same line Jon Stewart used on Crossfire to get it scrapped is.... well its just funny.
and sad.
for Tucker.
Tucker Carlson is a light weight in the New business he has lost more shows than a Las Vegas gambler. What's strange he probably wondering why.
TuckMan should go back to Dancing With The Stars....oh, wait a minute...he wasn't good at that either...
If Tucker wants to hear the other side of the issues, let him turn to Fox, CBS, CNN, ABC or any of their off shoots. I can get lied to from any of those networks. I find it refreshing to hear at least ONE person in the main stream media telling the truth.
Carlson is a total dimbulb
I cannot stand people who say AHH after every other @*(!#& word. If you're listening, you will notice that Republicans do this all the time. This is a good indication that they are lying, but that goes without saying.
Then I guess you ahh are not voting for ahh Obama! Listen to his ahh one on one interviews ahh ok.
