Before Senator John McCain delivers his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, Senator Barack Obama will make a marquee appearance of his own.

Call it counter-intuitive. He will appear on "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox News Channel.

I guess is getting nervous that he can't win without some of the Fox viewers' votes.

I have a feeling that Rove has written this speech and this is a setup for us O supporters who tuned into billo....

Thinking that we were going to see an interview with O.... and no O yet.. just upping McC so far

not quite up to O.....

first time they have had a star....

BREAKING NEWS

O'Reilly isn't gonna show the entire Obama interview tomorrow night. He's gonna show clips to prevent stepping on McCain's speech. Then he's gonna show the rest next week.

Real slick, but there'll be some breaking bad news or gaffes for McCain-Palin next week that'll define this race.

Barrack's gonna come off like a conservative on FoxNews. That's his M.O. He's the perfect chameleon politician. He says whatever he needs to say depending on the audience. Like flipping on FISA, flipping on drilling, etc.

The real question is whether the hard left will accept this like sychophants, or actually stand up for their true, twisted, beliefs. I think they go sychophant.

I love when conservatives use the term "flip flopping" for dems but republicans are allowed to "change their minds". Much like Senator McCain has done. Maybe you don't recall the 2000 debate in SC between McCain and Bush, after Bush's camp initiated a hate campaign suggesting McCain's daughter wasn't adopted (a minor - and they attacked her!). Look it up on YouTube. You'll find that McCain once loathed our Commander-In-Chief, but has since "flip-flopped" on that position.

As a conservative . . . flip flopping is the most overrated word in poltics unless you flip week to week back and forth.

If your experiences make you flip, good . . . it's called learning.

to all the nervous nellies...think back to when you feared O would let you down and remember why he's the man for the time. he has continued to amaze us. Good job Sen. O. Go to the enemies camp!

Courage to lead is not because you speak it, it's because you WALK it.

This is absolutely a mistake, and will not win over one single Faux News minion. Going on Billy Orally is like a chicken agreeing to be interviewed by Colonel Sanders. They're just looking for things they can take out of context, not to mention ambushing him with internet rumors. After all, if Billy goes off of the agreed agenda, what does it matter as long as he has the material to use?

Rodger Ailes is totally full of it, and Faux News is little more than the mouthpiece of the RNC.

This is not a mistake. Many democrates watches O'really and Fox. They need to hear from O on Fox otherwise they will be fed more BS from FOX. They promise to give him a fair shot and to not distort what he is saying by twisting whatever he said into a pretzel so why not.

Of course, O needs to watch out for their body language experts.;) They usually read a bunch of stuff in a blink of an eye.

Obama should have no problems on the Factor, O"Reilly is a bully who only picks on those he can intimidate. Fearful of real power, Bill wimped out in his interview with Hilary, He"ll wimp out again.

I think the danger of internet rumors have past for O. No one cares anymore, we're burned out on stretches to connect him to stuff or see some hidden muslim agenda in his words.

Now Palin's scandals, they just seem to roll off the tongue effortlessly, so why strain for yet another Obama "secret" that requires me to rearrange the letters of his first and middle names, go on a scavanger hunt, fold a photo of his into four pieces, then go into the bathroom with the lights off and say into the mirror, bloody mary, bloody mary, bloody mary.

Nah, Palin has much more user friendly scandals and as you know, american's are lazy.

Blowhard O'Reilly, his bullying has gotten Hillary and now Obama to go on his program. Can you imagine GOP candidates sitting down with someone from the left they find insufferable and the farthest thing from fair and balanced? Hey, I say Michael Moore bully McCain and Palin into separate one-hour sitdown interviews to be televised live!

I can't wait for this interview as O'Reilly is one of the 5% in this country who are scared to death that he might have his taxes raised while Senator Obama gives the middle class a tax break, which is long over due since this administration has been in power the rich got richer and the middle class has been going broke. What I find curious is the talking point of the McCain camp that Senator Obama will raise taxes.....PERIOD, and the talking heads never correct them when they know very well that is not the case. Hmm, makes you wonder how many of those talking heads fall into that 5%.

OK, so the middle class will get a tax break - I hope it pays for the rise in the cost of goods across the board when new taxes are levied against businesses. The middle class ALWAYS pays in this country - one way or another. And how do you have guarenteed health care, education, etc, etc, etc, without higher taxes? I am tired of being lied to - not just by Obama, but by ALL politicians.
