Here's a little behind-the-scenes flavor from the Republican National Convention. On one side, gravel-voiced radio host Alex Jones. On the other, adventurous videographer Liz Glover. Our issues today: "Do you think [Ralph] Nader is the head of a counter-intelligence program with the F.B.I.?" Things pretty much degenerate from there, with the conspiracy-minded Jones attesting to Nader's "genuineness," and corporations are bad, and Ron Paul is great, and something about "fruit trees", and "applecarts," and John McCain being "scary" and close to death by cancer. Eventually, it gets around to the death of the "D.C. Madam," and Liz barely containing her amusement.

the dismissal of an idea as pure lunacy without evidence to prove it as such is the sign of mental complacence.

God, but Liz is cute.

How can Alex Jones be viewed as "level headed"?

Luncay, uttered in measured tones, is still lunacy.

Alex Jones covers stories that the main stream media censors.

He brings lots of facts to light to support his analysis of what is going on.

He is smart and courageous.

Peace.

As far as I can see, he gave a pretty clear, concise answer to a question that was obviously fed to her. Ms. Glover appears to not only not understand the question, she looks like she doesn't comprehend the answer either. Go back to your gossip column, and leave the real stories to real reporters.
Alex owned her.

Sorry but Liz is quite unimpressive here.

I see a reporter picking on a guy with some interesting beliefs (which I do not agree with) and some weird beliefs. Thats about it.

Terms like "conspiracy-theorist," "conspiracy-minded" are terms used by people who have little info about the subject at hand, and find it easier to just swallow whatever they're handed.

Liz should go back to her Barbie cam and gossip column.

Jones gave a thoughtful answer to what he considered a serious question. It made perfect sense to me although I don't agree with his opinions on everything I am more alarmed that the author of the article would dismiss him out of hand. Was' up with that?

I don't agree with a large portion of what Mr. Jones talks about on prisonplanet or infowars, BUT....

If someone says repeatedly to anyone who will listen, publicly and privately, the following statements:

"I think THEY are going to kill me."
" If THEY say I committed suicide, then THEY have murdered me."
"If I am murdered then perform an autopsy and investigate my death so that THEY don't get away with it."

Then the very thing this person was extremely upset would happen comes to pass... Doesn't it stand to reason that perhaps an autopsy or further investigation might not be THAT bad of an idea?

The woman had dirt on a lot of very powerful people, it doesn't require a tinfoil hat and a ham radio to wrap your mind around the fact that this is a very reasonable possibility.
