Newsweek:

The McCain team has hastily assembled a team of former Bush White House aides to tutor the vice-presidential candidate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, on foreign-policy issues, to write her speeches and to begin preparing her for her all-important Oct. 2 debate against Sen. Joe Biden.

Steve Biegun, who once served as the No. 3 National Security Council official under Condoleezza Rice at the White House, has been hired as chief foreign-policy adviser to the Alaska governor, campaign officials told NEWSWEEK. After taking leave from his job as vice president for international affairs at Ford Motor Co. last Friday, Biegun flew to St. Paul and, together with McCain's foreign-policy guru Randy Schuenemann, began briefings for Palin on national-security issues--an area where her resume is conspicuously thin.

In the hills and hollows, up crick and down dale
Throwback revenants gnash teeth and send up a hail
The hicks from the sticks each one and each pair of
with a frenzied howl cry out for darlin’ Ms. Sarah
With a beating of drums and a blare of brass horns
The hillbillies and trailer trash are wailin’ for Palin!

Like you can take a crash course in foreign policy... This is a joke, right?

Hum.... I wonder what mischief Bush will get into while all his aides are out aiding Miss Alaska. Maybe we'll take over Iran or something.

Bush aides??? I have a better idea--let Johnny Mac school her on foreign policies. After all, he knows how to get bin Laden and how to win wars. Doesn't Bush trust J-Mac?

Are they schooling Palin in the art and meaning of War - That seems to be John McCains central foreign policy dogma. ............

Seriously folks. Can someone help me to obtain a lawyer to file a class-action lawsuit against McCain? We need to send a strong message to all future candidates that you cannot play around with the high office of the land.

Our country and position in the world must not be taken lightly in the decision making for a vice-president. If the position wasn't serious, they why have one? Why the nomination and vetting process? This candidate was a slap in the face to the other Republican candidates and to those of us who have been vetted.

America, I kid you not. I went through more serious vetting to obtain a top secret security clearance to serve in Military Intelligence, than this woman and her family went through.

We must send a strong message. The American public deserves respect and require that you put us first in choosing a running mate that could replace you. I have no problem with Joe Biden stepping into the role of President if God forbid something happened to Barack.

Couldn't agree with you more Choicematters. For the love of GOD! I went through a more rigorous "vetting" to get a job at a casino!

Even though I don't think they have to, Obama and Biden should join in on the class. Even Steven. I wonder how they are going to sell her newly learned 'foreign policy" to the public. "Well, she got schooled by our own, Bush foreign policy advisors. She graduated Magna Cum Laude". And all the sheep will neigh. Drop your logic at the door!

POST YOUR COMMENTS TO CONSERVATIVE SITES LIKE FOXNEWS.COM TOO!!!!

We have strong arguments, and there are a lot of slander going on right now against Obama.

We need to convince others, not just ourselves! Preaching to the choir is not enough.

Go to FoxNews.com. It is completely biased... but in the opposite direction of the HuffingtonPost.

This is where the conservatives are, and this is where we need to make our case.

Post here, but post there too! We need to change minds, and address the lies!!!

I'm glad Palin illegally disclosed troop deployment information to push her political agenda rather than supporting the war which is ironically part of her parties agenda. Very interesting that Beau Biden didn't make this same mistake. Perhaps he's more qualified.

The scary thing is that she is just the kind of blank slate the Neo-Cons found in George Bush. She has no international experience, she even admitted she hasn't even thought about it. So now she is being brain washed like the Manchurian Candidate.

I thought they said National Security and Foreign Policy was very important for being Commander in Chief. How important can it be if you graduate from the class in 2 months. Nurses go to school longer than that. I know she is only the V.P, but you never know. I'm sure after 2 months she will be ready to answer that red phone on day one. LOL

this is sad. John Mc Cain country last. Remember Hitler was a war hero. She has no foreign policy experience
08:50 PM on 09/04/2008
Well, now we all know she is cramming for the exam. Therefore, we can look at any answer she gives in the debates as something that didn't come from any long-term study or understanding.
09:33 PM on 09/04/2008
She will cheat and MSM will let her do that. Because She is a woman.

If it were Hillary the republicans would have given her Hell so we should do the same. Whats disturbing is the reps don't like McCain & she associated with the separatist. Thats not patriotic. John McCain is a phoney. Is there any film of him going to church this year besides when he lead us to believe he was in the cone of silence the entire time OB was speaking? When they lie about her record go back at them with what her Juneau newspaper citizens say.
