I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Anderson Cooper, who made his name reporting on Hurricane Katrina and who wrote a book on "war, disasters, and survival," seemed a bit over it all Thursday night when discussing coverage of the upcoming hurricanes (Hanna and Ike).

"Hurricane, New York, I'm not sure," Cooper said of his next step after leaving Minneapolis-St. Paul.

When Wolf Blitzer chanted, "Ike, Ike," Cooper joked: "If Tina shows up, then I'll be there."

Nothing is sacred as long as it's funny.

Is it just me or does Cooper have a HitIer moustache in that photo?

I get it....The joke is on the people at the weather channel. Look at what is spawning and why was President Bush is Louisiana with FEMA. Hmmm, sound like a plan and a control freak. Telling the meterologist to knock it off when IKE is headed for Louisiana.

www.theweatherchannel.com

Looks as if the national weather service is SCI-FI and BUSH/CRONYISMS are up to no good.

Who is going to be at fault come next THURSDAY? Or who is going to CRY WOLF?

Don't wait to long......Technology can jack-u-up....but GOD DON'T PLAY.

In other words like Samuel L Jackson would say, "ARE YOU FEELING ME, ITS GOING TO LAND."

There simply is no end to the double standards. If a right-wing journalist had made a similar comment all of you would be demanding that CNN fire him.

By George, you're right. Perhaps you might toddle off to where people will appreciate such earth-shattering insight.

It's the proverbial double standard - we can do YOU (if you are minority, especially Black) can NOT! We have cum to expect it….

People PLEASE register to vote before October 3rd. If possible request an absentee ballot and vote EARLY. I am not taking any chances with the republican this year; they like to disenfranchise voters, especially minorities.

So, if you don't have to deal with them on November 4th do NOT!

In Maryland you can request an absentee ballot. The deadline is October 28. PLEASE, vote and vote early!

Uh, "tina" is a euphamism for an illegal substance.

It's an Ike and Tina Turner reference, not a meth reference...

Cooper's been programmed to speak Republicanese.

He, John King, and the host of "Race for the White House" all look alike.

And, sound alike. Robotic.
Watching the political news anchors is like watching the "The Body Snatchers"("Invasion").
These people have all been programmed to sell the Republican Propaganda.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

Maybe what he's saying if Hurricane Ike beats up Florida like Ike Turner used to do to Tina, he'll go to report on the damage.(That may be giving AC too much credit, I don't know if he could think up that analogy.)

Whatever happened to the empathy that he displayed during Katrina? Was it all for the cameras?
Anderson Cooper has turned into an annoyingly self-important windbag.

Honey, he wasn't joking about a real hurricane, nor was he making fun of anyone getting hurt. It was simply a joke about the names of hurricanes and the fact that there have been several storms spawning recently. He wasn't insulting or mocking anyone. A little levity should not be cause to question someone's integrity or compassion.

Some people on talk radio said the first thought that came to their mind was Ike Turner! And if the hurricane is like that Ike, it would be mean and bad. I thought of Eisenhower! Ha! NO BIG DEAL.

Not a fan of AC, but really, what did he say that was so wrong and newsworthy? McCain cracks all sort of insensitive, offensive and inappropriate jokes, he's running for Pres by the way, and you report nothing, but you throw this nonsense on AC?
