The Associated Press reports that two videos have surfaced which feature the aftermath of the botched US-led airstrikes in early August that, according to the UN, killed at least 90 Afghan civilians. The bodies of at least 10 children, and more adults, can be seen on the videos. Watch footage of one of the videos below.

One video, obtained by The Associated Press on Monday and apparently taken by a cell phone, is grainy and details such as a precise body count are difficult to make out. But it appears that several dozen bodies, all covered by blankets, are lined up one next to another in a mosque.

Wailing Afghan women and men occasionally lift the blankets to show dead children or the disfigured faces of men.

A second video shows three young children wrapped in white shrouds. A fourth child has gruesome head wounds. In total, the bodies of at least 10 children can be seen.

The two videos, both obtained by The Associated Press, give weight to Afghan and U.N. findings that scores of civilians, including 60 children and 15 women, died in the Aug. 22 U.S.-led raid in the village of Azizabad. U.S. special forces and Afghan commandos carried out the operation

War is defined as hostilities between two or more nations. Therefore, the War on Terror (the War on Truth) the War on Drugs, etc. are misnomers. They exist only in print and have no sanction or true meaning. In fact, they are nothing but egregious assertions; lies. Everything since 911 is a lie, including 911. The perps for mass murder and war crimes are sitting pretty in D.C.'s web of war criminals. Will they be allowed to ride off into the sunset?

DEATH OF AFGHAN CIVILIANS INCLUDING WOMEN AND CHILDREN BY U.S.-LED AIRSTRIKES IS NOT NEW. IT HAS BEEN THE PATTERN IN BUSH'S ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL WAR ON TERROR

By Hermie Rotea

The Bush-Cheney war machine has punished Afghanistan since 2001 with airstrikes for a crime it never committed. The war-torn country had nothing to do with the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States. Yet the U.S. invaded Afghanistan in its phony war on terror based on great deception and motivated by oil and profit, to protect the oil pipeline project of Unocal Corporation of California in northern Afghanistan.

At public trials of President Bush in Tokyo, Brussels and Tacoma, anti-war activists, international jurists, and prosecutors heard Afghan victims of U.S. war atrocities who testified with oral, written and video evidence that American forces napalm-bombed and carpet-bombed Afghanistan with depleted uranium explosives whose radioactive contamination was a thousand times greater than the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan that ended World War II.

In the aftermath of the U.S. invasion, millions of Afghans, including civilians, women and children died, were injured, or became refugees. The U.S. punished Afghans in pursuit of Taliban and Al Qaeda forces opposed to American occupation and subversion of Afghan sovereignty. The Talibans are Afghans whose government in Kabul the U.S. overthrew, while Al Qaedas are not Afghans but foreigners in Afghanistan. So what else is new?

Ahhh, more red meat smears and lies from the left. No wonder you guys can't gain control of the WH. This video has been disputed by an imbedded reporter at the scene, and the special ops forces in the area have been muzzled due to ongoing investigations. He claims this video is a phony. You libs just can't help yourselves when it comes to bashing the military. I love this web site the gift that keeps on giving.

Please excuse Danoj folks - he's an illegal immigrant and still doesn't understand enough English well enough to reject state sponsored terrorism by AmeriKKKa in the kings English.

See! This is EXACTLY why we need to ban all foreign media from our airwaves in the US. To much damned truth gets out that way. Oh, but wait...unlike every other developed country in the world, there IS no foreign media freely available to the American masses in America...

Whew!

Let's also ban BBC from streaming news programming to America via the internet...oh, but wait, that's already been done...

I don't like civilian deaths, but if the enemy hides among their women and children, then they will be harmed. No one even knows if those pictures are of the area in question and when the pictures were taken.

People who can look at these pictures, and imagine the children and the indescribable suffering of their mothers and fathers and think oh well, "collateral damage" are themselves so damaged as to be all but spiritually dead.

Most intelligent review I've ever seen about war..........from a retired Colonel.

We can't 'fight' terrorism with bombs.
Until we accept that.............we're in for more of every thing we've seen.

so true. that so many conservatives can so shrilly oppose abortion because of their profession to this bizarre "culture of life" they shriek about- and yet so consistently clamor for more war is beyond comprehension- its the depth of absurdity that makes you believe that the universe is one big, meaningless farce

I just saw the movie Pineapple Express and during the previews was forced to watch a National Guard promo of a full length music video by Kid Rock featuring Dale Jr. It was like nazi propaganda or a 1984 hate session. He said " dont tell me about right or wrong...if you dont want to fight then get out of the way." It showed soldiers and copters like they were in candyland protecting civilian children whose soccer balls rolled in front of tanks....disgusting. Those kids lost their legs in real life. Until we come to terms with the mass shock from 911 and that it truly was coordinated by our own government then nothing will change. V for Vendetta said it all...it was Cheney and company that did it. Why is everyone still afrain to ask real questions about what really happened. Until we do all your going to see is more dead children. How can we say we didnt order this when we paid for it.

"In all probability, both wars were lost before the first bomb was dropped or the first shot fired. They were lost because, in an era when the state is in decline, our wars on the Afghan and Iraqi states were doomed to be too successful. We fought to destroy two regimes, but what we ended up doing was destroying two states. Neither in Afghanistan nor in Iraq are we able to recreate the state, which means that Fourth Generation, non-state forces will come to dominate both places. And neither we nor any other state knows how to defeat Fourth Generation enemies."

War isa terrible business and civilians are in the way.the question we should be asking is can our military can do anything right? we were supposed to be in afghanistan to fight the people who supported al qaida (remember them) and harbored them .i say get out of iraq and afghanistan ,what is there to win ? before benazir bhutto was slain by our ally mushariff, she said that bin laden was dead. it wouldnt suprise me if a long dead bin laden is shown to americans before the election. remember stupid americans that it was the present republican administration that was on watch during 911 when they were fully informed . so how is it that mccain will keep us safe?

I remember reading an editorial years ago, written by someone from the middle east with connections that would say he knows what he's talking about. I regret that I didn't save it so I can't tell you his name.
Anyway, he was convinced that Bin Laden was dead. Absolutely sure of it.
But then we wouldn't want anyone to know that .........right?

And people wonder why we don't trust our own government. ! ! The Military will lie thru their teeth as they did in Vietnam on civilian body counts. Killing children is murder, Makes no sense and morally wrong that we kill far more civilians than those "terrorists" we hunt. Where in the world is the justification in that ?? Children are children no matter what part of the world they are from and there's no excuse for what this country has done. Not only in Afghanistan but Iraq too!! Just who are the "bad guys" is impossible to tell in this unjust War. The Military is only looking into this tragedy again because of the media exposure otherwise it would have been swept under the rug as so many other innocent killings. Our government is most hypocritical....they preach Democracy and fault other countries who practice human relations violations when we are no better....it is no wonder we are so hated.

90 percent of amerikans dont know the half of it- or really care to know for that matter- so long as they can fill up their suvs with cheaper gas- read christopher hedges' "collateral damage" -it came out this past year and its about the fact that there never was any policy in iraq to protect civilians- they have been butchered by us by the boxcar loads since the beginning in 03
