"Sen. Hillary Clinton campaigned in Kissimmee today before heading off for a late afternoon event in Tampa. Clinton, talking to about 300 people Osceola County, rolled out a new line we suspect you're going to hear a lot in the coming weeks," the Orlando Sentinel reports.

"To slightly amend my comments in Denver," she said, "no way, no how, no McCain, no Palin."

Clinton said the nation should be proud that the Republicans have a woman on the ticket, but argued that returning Republicans to the White House "is like asking the iceberg to save the Titanic."

Barack Obama needs Clinton's supporters if he hopes to win the November election. She's promised to campaign for him despite their testy relationship during the Democratic primary. In Kissimmee, she began her comments with an appeal to her fans.

"I am here with a very simple message," she said. "We must work as hard as we possibly can to elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States."

Video of Clinton campaigning in Florida below:

More on Clinton's statements today from the Palm Beach Post.

If only she would have taken a cue from Palin, and said something derogatory. What's fair is fair. Palin has shown she does not fight clean!

You know, there's been a lot of talk of "disaffected Hillary Clinton supporters" and their statements, but this is all under the assumption that all of these people were already Democrats. Has no one considered that it was Clinton, the centrist, who had the best chance of really pulling large numbers of independents and conservatives over the the liberal cause? And I don't say this to re-hash the primary, but to put some of these anti-Obama "Clinton supporters" in their proper place. These people leaned more Republican anyway. That they've turned out for McCain or for Palin only means that they are going home to roost. So without pointing fingers and placing blame, let's recognize that Clinton drew some prominent moderate Republicans who are unfortunately sticking with the GOP when they could be voting for Obama. This created the myth of the divided Democratic party, and this is how the stories continue to get headlines. But the truth is that they were conservatives before, will be after, and the headline "People Who Were Conservative Anyway Endorse McCain" doesn't sell papers the same as using Clinton's name does.

Real Clinton Democrats will be voting for Obama.

You've actually managed to make the point that the wrong candidate is nominated. So H was able to garner the support of moderate repub's but O is not. So if O is not able to not only carry his own party plus grab some from the other side, exactly why is he the nominee again?

Good point, although my effort was not to re-hash the primaries and potentially cause any real division. There are a lot of knee-jerk posters around here.

Apparently, this year, you go to the election with the candidate that you have, not the one that you want.

Are you here because John McCain's website told you to be here? Well, if you want to be fair and decent -- and honest -- then stick around. Maybe you'll learn something, if you're open-minded enough. But if you plan to try to sway Dems with dishonesty -- as outlined in your link -- and try to smear Obama/Biden, then you're in the wrong place. People here actually have a brain and can figure out what's right for this country. We've heard it all before. You're wasting your time.

Let's see if Obama can stand on his own two feet instead of insisting on being carried - by a woman no less!

Obama must think of himself as the queen wanting to be carried over the threshold of the honeymoon suite.

LOL, it's sad that it's true. Apparently judging by the comments left on here his supporters are under some delusion that she must also win the election for him and then hand over the position while he sits there doing nothing.

Based on the most recent news coverage, Palin is the momentum for Little Johnny's entire campaign. Until she was appointed (anointed), his campaign needed CPR. She single-handedly brought him back from the dead and now it only remains to be seen how long she is able to keep the CPR going... DeaninPhilly, this Shamokin, PA hometowner wishes you would realize that RePUBICANS (misspelling intended) are only out for their own self-interests. But then, maybe, you make more than $250,000 a year so you have reason to fear Barack.

No matter what this election looks like winning the White House is still a team sport. Jordan was the man but he didn't do it alone. He made others around him better but he didn't do it alone. Obama doesn't need anyone to "carry" him but he does need supporters. And who better to speak against a woman than another woman?

I've been waiting to hear from Hillary ever since McCain announced Palin so this is a good thing. Because of Obama or Biden goes on the attack they'll be painted as macho, uncaring, chauvinistic pigs, which is exactly what the Republicans are counting on. But if Hillary has a word or two for Palin then there's little to argue about other than the content and context of her words.

I too was a very active voice for Obama during the primary campaign. That was then, this is now. I strongly agree with all voices that stress Obama has to win this election. McCain/Palin -- a disaster of a team. McCain is disastrous enough, add Palin so close to the presidency ... that could not be scarier!! Please, stop the back and forth about Hillary. The Clintons do not want McCain to get into the White House ... For goodness sakes, in four years, we would not have a country left if that happened. Obama has to win. What a team he and Biden would be and what a great country we could get back to being.

ALL YOU HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS!

STAY TRUE TO HILLARY AND VOTE FOR OBAMA!!!
12:22 PM on 09/09/2008
I am a stong Hillary supporter.

NOW, you want my vote, how interesting!!!

I haven't posted on HuffPo for many months, because everytime that I would express my opinion, I was bombarded by the Obamites (aka Hillay Haters) telling me to stay home on election day, they don't need my VOTE.

Hillary and Bill have been treated badly by Obama and his supporters. The ultimate snub was NOT offering the VP to her. Obama screwed up badly on that. Obama is very stubborn and is obsessed with always being right. Not a good combination, sounds like Dubya!!!
If I were the Clintons, I would tell Obama to go jump in the deepest lake; however, they won't do that, they have more class, and they do NOT want McCain to win, as they are more concerned with the needs of our country.
I will NEVER vote for McCain; however I'm not sure I will vote. Sad, isn't it?????

It is sad that you would consider forfeiting your right to vote, no matter which candidate you choose to vote for. It is sadder still that you are entertaining that possibility because you actually care what other people think and say about your personal choices, especially given those comments were likely made in the heat of a battle. I personally just joined Huffington Post today so am unable to speak to the tone and content of the comments posted in the past, but I wouldn't give up my right to vote because other people were rude to me. Further, based on your screen name, I'm thinking you are probably a woman. Women suffragists went through a lot to gain the voting right for us and I wouldn't give up that right to have my voice counted because of a few yahoo's not reigning in their rudeness.

Nice to see Hillary out there telling it like it is.
McCain may have voted with Bush 90% of the time but it looks like Palin shares Bushs' ideals and philosophies 100% .A scary thought.
