Madonna Dedicates "Like A Virgin" To The Pope (VIDEO)

Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour hit Rome on on Saturday, September 6th. Playing to a crowd of 60,000 people, Madonna dedicated her song "Like a Virgin" to the Pope, saying, "I dedicate this song to the pope, because I'm a child of God. All of you are also children of God." According to Reuters, "Italian newspapers gushed over the singer's electric performance and called the dedication a surprising provocation."

Let me say this: Madonna once described her daughter Lourdes as a drama queen. Can YOU imagine having this woman as a mother? In New York I heard all kinds of statements made by people who've worked for Madonna, and, the word witch would be a compliment compared to what I heard about stuff she puts her employees through. Aren't Catholics up in arms? Madonna is 50 and still sells this sparkly trash, and that's what it is, trash with sparkles on it and all young female singers want to be like this "woman." I heard when she broke her arm and ribs (riding a horse), her kids said, "finally we get to spend time with Mommy." Madonna rolled her eyes and got on a treadmill and worked out and wrote songs instead of taking a breather and relishing that time with her kids. Hey, Lourdes has a Mommy Dearest book in her that's going to make our stomaches roll--it will outdo Madonna's brother's slamming book.

They were an awesome audience. 60,000 strong all singing at the top of their lungs. Concerts are suppose to be fun, get your blood pumping. I don't know why people get all bent out of shape when Madonna throws some red meat at them. Its her thing and their is nothing wrong with it.

Wait until she hits Brazil! They are expecting 120,000 for each of her 4 shows there.
