Elisabeth Hasselbeck Rips Michelle Obama At RNC: "Something To Hide"

"The View" co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the show's token conservative and an ardent supporter of John McCain, appeared at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul last week and spoke at an event honoring Cindy McCain. Given that "The View" is a necessary destination for the candidates and their wives this year, Hasselbeck felt qualified to explain the difference between Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama, though she avoided singling Obama out by name:

"Cindy came into our hair and makeup room, fresh as can be, and unlike another wife of a political candidate who shall remain nameless, she didn't come with a list of topics that we weren't allowed to touch. Nope, that's because she has nothing to hide."

For a christian woman she is very judgemental. Yes everyone is entitled to their views, but there is a major difference between judging and express your views. Ms. Hasselbeck should take some time and pray about what she plans on expressing to make sure it is in line with God's word. It's heart breaking to see a TV host acting the way she does. I pray that God take's pitty on her soul. Maybe she just doesn't understand, she should as Mr. McCain,seeing that he thinks he's so wise.

If, as one blogger said, "Elizabeth Hasselbeck is one of the only folks on The View with morals," and if Cindy McCain is "an open book with nothing to hide", then it would have been nice to have heard Elizabeth ask Cindy what she would think of a women who carried on an affair with a married men 20 years her senior, before stealing the man away from his handicapped wife and children. A moral woman and a woman with nothing to hide could have a very interesting conversation on that topic, I'm sure.

I applaud Ms. hasselbeck for having the gumption to stand up to the idiots she co-hosts with. All of them are has beens and that's why they are co-hosting this show. Notice when they asked her why Palin would be a good VP, she turned it around and asked them why Obama would be a good pres. They had no comment because they don't have an answer. They are just a bunch of has beens that are only voting for obama because they want to look like they are modern women who are politically savvy. Obviously they aren't.

Too bad Cindy's husband didn't provide The View producers with a list of no touch topics. As evidenced by his stammering on the show last week, he doesn't come off as "fresh" as his wife when it comes to speaking off the cuff on topics concerning running this country.
