Sean Hannity, the conservative commentator, will interview Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin next week, the Fox News Channel announced Friday.

Jill Hazelbaker, a spokeswoman for the McCain campaign, confirmed that the television interview would be Ms. Palin's second since becoming the vice presidential nominee on Aug. 29.

His interview will be taped Tuesday in Cincinnati, Ohio, and will be shown on "Hannity & Colmes," Fox's 9 p.m. political talk show, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mr. Hannity, who co-hosts the Fox program with Alan Colmes and also hosts a popular radio show, is generally sympathetic to Ms. Palin. "She is a rock star, a rising star, a reform governor with more experience than Barack Obama ever dreamed of having," he said the day she was chosen by John McCain.

Palin Says She Has Broad Authority to Look At Private State Files

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is maneuvering to stop an investigation into an alleged abuse of power, in part, by claiming that she has an unlimited right to pry into the personnel records of all state employees, including the state trooper who divorced her sister.

Palin"s new position was summed up in a Sept. 9 letter from Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg to the state legislature, which has authorized an independent counsel probe into whether Palin and her staff illegally accessed confidential personnel records of her ex-brother-in-law, state trooper Mike Wooten.

The probe also focuses on Palin"s firing of state Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan in July after he refused to fire Wooten.

Colberg"s argument is that Palin can access confidential files of any state employee she chooses and thus the allegation that she got unauthorized access to Wooten"s personnel records " by whatever means " is moot.

This obnoxious self indulgent interview with Palin will be a prescripted schrade, totally biased and in favor of Palin's so called accomplishments,....................expect nothing more....................

You want to see an "...obnoxious self indulgent interview..." look up Charlie Gibson's first interview with Obama. Questions about his mom, living in Hawaii, and how he fell in love with his wife...wow...powerful, indepth, and hardhitting. Just another liberal "fluff" piece for the anointed one!

I am sure that he's excited. Do you think there is time to have his hairline raised up off of his eyebrows?

I'm sure Hannity is already having wet dreams about it.

There is zero doubt that every one of the questions asked by hannity to palin would have been given to Palin prior to the interview to be rehersed.

She's sitting at home on the bear rug, reading the script Hannity has given her, rest assured.
This will be farcical, predictable and indefensible.

Laughable and totally contemptable.

Correction to Headline: This is an Infomercial, not an Interview

Ever since Palin was announced VP candidate Fox has been one big We Love Sarah infomercial.
It comes on right after the We Hate Obama infomercial.

Will the moose hunter be given the questions beforehand? If there is a noticeable difference in her answers, then it is yes.

This is most probably the McCain campaign trying to redeem her, after her ignorance was displayed on ABC. Bush doctrine?

I'm sure the fawning-all-over-her S.ean H.annity will absolutely give her questions beforehand. Lies, lies, lies is all he is capable of. Spewing lies on his show about how he thinks the economy is great and not in dire straits--that it is all fabricated. Maybe to him it has been great because he makes millions of dollars, but not to us ordinary people!!!! SUCH A HYPOCRITE!!!

I will not watch this one, just because it is on the Sean Hannity show.
That man is a hate monger

Should be fascinating television. I'd love to watch it, but I'm afraid I won't be able to see through the vomit.

Fake News is the mouthpiece of the propaganda machine of the republican party.
Sure, go ahead, transform the interview into a one hour or so long political ad.
In the spirit of fairness, next stop Keith O.
