"Top McCain-Palin official Carly Fiorina is facing criticism from some within the campaign for a day of what they call 'very Biden-like' comments," CNN reports, "after the former Hewlett-Packard CEO told two separate interviewers that neither member of the Republican ticket would be capable of running a company."

Indeed, the daggers seemed out for Fiorina among the McCain aides that spoke to CNN.

A top McCain official contacted by CNN said, on condition on anonymity, "No big deal, but not how you get on the surrogate all-star team. Very Biden-like."

"This campaign source said Fiorina would be discouraged from additional media interviews.

Another top campaign adviser was far less diplomatic.

"Carly will now disappear," this source said. "Senator McCain was furious." Asked to define "disappear," this source said, adding that she would be off TV for a while - but remain at the Republican National Committee and keep her role as head of the party's joint fundraising committee with the McCain campaign.

Fiorina was booked for several TV interviews over the next few days, including one on CNN. Those interviews have been canceled.

How many people are jobless because of this woman, who now languishes in wealth?

Enough said: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carly_Fiorina
was replaced by Patricia C. Dunn as Chairman, and then-C.F.O. Robert Wayman as C.E.O.[29] Hewlett-Packard's stock jumped 7% on news of her departure.[30]

Under Hewlett-Packard's severance agreement, Carly Fiorina received US$21 million in cash, which was 2.5 times her base annual salary. On March 8, 2006, two large institutional investors filed suit against Hewlett-Packard for violating its own severance cap when it doled out a multimillion-dollar payment to Fiorina as part of her termination agreement.

After Fiorina's departure from Hewlett-Packard in 2005, the company quickly prospered, overtaking Dell as the top-selling computer maker in the world. Her defenders, and even some critics, credit her with laying the foundations for that prosperity.

Well, they had to pay for the golden parachutes somehow...

I shouldn't jibe. It is a fair statement to suggest she laid the foundations... time for me to go look up what she did; maybe I can become rich too... (seriously)

I can't get past the "Carly will now disappear" comment. I thought that was just part of the headline from Huffpo. That is just precious.

And Carly knows what it takes to be a failed CEO, believe me!

A lot of people think Bush did a bad job. Did he get fired?
hmmmm...guess it's not the same.
Government doesn't earn or make money, they take it. NOT THE SAME as a company.
Go to HP and say...'I've used a printer before, can I run your company?" See what they say. HP or any other company with a product line, that you know little or nothing about.

The sad part is that HP was founded by two fine gentlemen, Bill Hewlett and David Packard, who treated their employees like they were family. Getting a job at HP once meant something. Now look at it after the outsourceress Fiorina ran it into the ground. She's got a lot of nerve even showing her face on TV, and even more nerve about telling someone about the qualifications to be CEO. She was at best a fake one.

Is the the same Carly Fiorina who was "let go" from Hewlett-Packard after she ran it into the ground?

Yes, she proved beyond a doubt that she is among the world's top experts on being not capable of running a company, unless you count "into the ground."
