GOP, Rush Limbaugh Upset By Obama Spanish Ad

A Republican congressman and supporter of John McCain called a Spanish television ad from the Obama campaign "offensive and dishonest" Thursday, and said the Democratic nominee owes the Latino community an apology.

"It is offensive and dishonest for Barack Obama to lie about John McCain's record on immigration and years of support for the Hispanic community, when it was Barack Obama himself who voted for 'poison pill' amendments that killed the effort at immigration reform. Instead of making false ads with baseless attacks, Barack Obama should be apologizing to the Latino community," Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart said in statement released by the McCain campaign.

Limbaugh also took issue with the ad, telling the Politico it had taken his past statements -- one of which is 15 years old -- out of context and was an attempt at "race baiting."

Obama should speak out in answer to this slug and say he knows Rushbo is making 400 MILLION, so he can get over it, and that basically, he doesn't care for Rush's comments because it's obvious that he's a lousy American.

Obama has shown with this ad that he is willing to twist and manipulate the truth to deceive people. If you are really honest and listen to the context of the quotes that were used, you will admit that Obama has lied, using those lies to manipulate people.

I realize that no one here has actually looked at the real context of the quotes or even listened to the actual recordings of the context. This shows Obama has some smarts because he realizes that all he has to do is say something that involved Limbaugh and his followers will believe what he says even if it is a lie. And that is exactly what has happened. The lie is accepted as truth.

Using his polarizing image and throwing a little mud on him is fair game.
