Tina Fey Mocks Charge That Palin Skit Was Sexist

I would never be so presumptuous as to put words in the mouth of Tina Fey - after all, the words that come out win clutches of Emmys! But if this isn't specifically a response to McCain flack Carly Fiorina, and her glitteringly inane contention that Fey's imitation of Sarah Palin was "sexist"...well, let's just say that I prefer to think that it is. And that's enough.

Hmmmmm, a female being called a sexist.
This world is getting crazier by the minute when we accuse WOMEN of being sexist towards other women.
If Palin were a man, it would be OK to attack him on his inexperience and his silence towards the past.
Is THAT being sexist, also?.I ask you.
So, attacking an inexperienced man (like many have done to Obama)=OK
Attacking an inexperienced woman who's hiding from the press=sexist.

It seems that turnabout is NOT fair play. Remember John McCain's words when he was running the Obama celebrity ads? He said they were funny, and that anyone who didn't think so should get off their computer, get outside and get some sunshine. Now he is complaining about a skit on a comedy show. C'mon John--turn off the tv, get outside and get some sunshine--the skit was funny.

That the Tina Fey spot as Palin was called sexist is like calling Palin a feminist. She might be a female with all the parts (confirmed by multiple children) and has held a couple of jobs once only men held but her stance on women's rights are a sorry point for her. So much of what Palin says and does is so Stepford it hurts me and other women badly. Who else has been in elected jobs and has had to CC her husband on her work and personal emails. Is he really the person doing the jobs or is he the one doing the "co-mayor then co-governor". But when you can convince me that the comment Tom Hanks made as Forrest Gump "Stupid is as stupid does" is sexist then maybe we can go there with Tina a woman making fun of Palin a woman. Palin, her Palin parade and the GOP version of Palin are their own worst on this ne.

Carly is a loser who was fired by HP- go ahead, Google That disaster, in fact- John McCain's judgment is beginning to look like it is comparable to George W's in terms of its potential to further destroy this country, let alone its impact on the world. Hearing Tina Fey in her own voice shows just how spot on her parody of Palin actually was. Fey says it was easy to spoof Palin, but she is being too modest.

In the end, it just may be that it will be Tina Fey -- a writer and comedienne -- who ends up saving the union from Maverick McCain and his Sidekick. Now what does that say about our press?
