Mccainoops

What we are witnessing right now is what a McCain presidency would be like -- herky jerky, bouncing from crisis to crisis, overreacting at every step.

It's taken him exactly ten days to go from the economy is strong to we're heading into the Great Depression and must stop the campaign.

But nothing has changed other than the polls, and that's why it's impossible to take this gamble seriously.

McCain can see that he cannot win the presidency unless the campaign narrative changes dramatically, so he's decided to roll the dice.

After all his talk of bipartisanship, John McCain has decided to make an intensely political move. He does not have a plan, but he's willing to drag the country through his personal drama, no matter the cost, just so that he might win the presidency.

McCain wants to demonstrate his leadership skills, but instead he's demonstrating beyond any doubt that he is temperamentally unfit to be president.

After 100 days of campaigning this is sure starting to look like it's McCain's Waterloo moment.

SEVEN HUNDERED BILLION----------------A MIGHTY BIG NUMBER

McCain says he needs to rush to Washington to "weigh-in" on the finacial crisis...and (at least indirectly) calls on Obama to do the same.

I'm sure Bernanke, Paulson, Rep. Frank and all who have been working 24/7 to work something out will find it SO helpful when McCain and seven hundred billion PAPARAZZI show up to "help"

You could have given me seven hundred billion GUESSES,....and I never would have thought McCain would turn out to be such an unethical SHYSTER

Someone forgot to text Cindi about the campaign suspension as she headed a $10,000 per person fundraiser luncheon at the home of one of our billionaires in the Seattle burbs.

He was going to get attacked at the debate for being a liar. He wants to bait Obama into attacking him for being a coward, an angle that has a much higher chance of backfiring. That's why the "multitasking" response, which is sticking nicely in the news media, is the correct tactic. Now we can paint a picture of McCain's feeble mind and abrupt temperament that unavoidably reminds voters of his age and his Bush-like character flaws.

Remember, Al Gore was the serial exaggerator who just couldn't get away with it like the slick Bill Clinton. McCain can be the mental and emotional child who just couldn't get away with it like the slick George W. Bush. If we do this right, we cement the Bush/McCain narrative that we've been developing for months. The Oliver Stone movie, from what I've seen, will help this along quite nicely.

McCain wants to postpone the foreign policy debate. Could it be that he's waiting for some big foreign policy event to occur? Maybe Bin Laden was going to give up but realized that the US is in no position to pay him the billions they promised if he pretends to get captured.

I am no longer an undecided voter.
That is for certain.

McCain's Repub. handlers definitely do not want a McCain DEBATE with Obama on the economy Friday. Imagine some of the questions that McCain would have to answer.

MCCAIN wants to CUT & RUN-- Cowardly.

McCain and his VP pick are always shielded from saying anything to media for fear they'll screw up. That's not leadership--that's abominable!
I've had it with that republican circus sideshow. No more years for corrupt republican liars.

My vote's for
common sense & competence: Obama-Biden.

I thought the debate Friday was going to be on foreign policy?

Actually, I doubt McCain would do any better on that topic. Don't forget, McCain put Spain in Latin America and thinks Czechoslovakia is still a country. I think if he tried his typical fear-mongering in this debate, it would turn voters against him even more.

Well, you know what this means...McCain will be forced to release numerous false and insulting ads attacking Obama. If you thought he was disappointed when Obama wouldn't do town hall meetings, you haven't seen nothing yet.

Ahhh yes! The HUGE risk that McCain runs if he decides to start attacking Obama for 'failure to suspend politics in a time of crisis' is that HE HAS BEEN YELLING ABOUT A FACE TO FACE MEETING FOR nearly FOUR MONTHS NOW. And what DOES he do, when, as has been rightly pointed out, the PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO SEE THE TWO OF THE CANDIDATES TOGETHER? Wouldn't really play in Peoria-probably wouldn't even play in Yazoo City! As his opponent pointed out while saying 'Thanks but No Thanks' to suspending the debate, BOTH of THESE CANDIDATES HAVE BIG, FAST JET PLANES that can carry them from Mississippi to Washington and back again at a moment's notice. And-NO ONE has even SUGGESTED that there was a delay in passing the bill, NO ONE has asked either ONE of the candidates for HIS direct intercession. And well--What's the POINT? One or the other IS going to be President in 40 days. One or the other will inherit this 'mess'. I just hope that the Senate and House Committees have copies of the bill as finally agreed upon-so that there won't be any 'last minute, 3AM additions or deletions' as there were with the PATRIOT ACT. So-either it's 'fear, panic, run, flee, hide' or NOT! I believe that it is not even CLOSE to full out PANIC-but can be there FAST if John McCain starts grandstanding on Capitol Hill.

NO ONE needs to see these two together...get THAT notion out of your heads now...
the debates will NOT decide the election...sorry.

Obama showing up for a rare visit to the place he is suppose to be doing his job in besides Illinois, The Senate matters more than anything right now...no PRESENT allowed.

This is yet another way to change the subject from what we were all gonna talk about anyway. Today it was gonna be about how much of a liar John McCain is because of his ties to Fanny Mae, which has been his "position" against Obama this whole week. Two weeks ago we were discussing lipstick because the economy was about to tank and McCain's campaign wanted a different conversation. When Obama gave a speech that electrified the country, they unleashed Palin, the living embodiement of a distraction.

Noticing a trend here? Talk about what you wanted. Point out the distractions. Make them look weak.

Ahhhh Mr. Mccain...you are something else. But what amazes me is the fact I still see so many Mccain signs in my state...c'mon people we're a lot better than that! Go Obama/Biden!!!

Suspended convention, suspended debate, campaign in a state of suspended animation. Whoda thunk that America's favorite Vietnam poster boy would be on the verge of becoming the GOP's George McGovern?

George McGovern is a good man, John McCain is an impostor.

McCain knows nothing about the economy and yet he says he's needed for the economic bill in Washington? when he has not been there all year? right.
Has nothing to do with trying to reschedule the debates for the veeps night so they put having Palin doing any debates against Joe Biden....
0r taking the focus off his campaign managers payments from Fannie and Freddie for access????
