Report: McCain Aides Complain That Palin Is "Clueless"

Radio talk show host Ed Schultz reports:

Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

On Friday, conservative columnist Kathleen Parker said that after seeing Palin in interviews, she thinks the vice presidential nominee should drop out.

No, Americans don't vote for VPs. However, there is no reason the 'knife thrower' shouldn't tear in to this light weight.

It will depend a lot on the questions asked and the debate format. If they ask her questions about abortion, gay marriage, the war on terror and earmarks, she should easily be able to recite the same Republican talking points that we have heard over and over for years. All she needs to do is satisfy the base and that's not too hard.

All Palin has proven she can do thus far is READ a speech that was written for her...that's ALL!...she's a below average lightweight...she has NO business as a candidate...in fact she's SO clueless that she didn't have the sense to say "Thanks, but no thanks" to the candidacy!...the only reason why she's had any popularity at all given the facts of her life and experience is that the Evangelicals don't read and don't care...they'll vote for her ONLY because she's an Evangelical...they like to think that they put country first and have a corner on patriotism, but the Palin factor proves otherwise!
