Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen caused another security alert when he stormed the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week.

Cohen interrupted the fashion show of designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in Milan making it onto the catwalk dressed as his Austrian model Bruno. Dressed in a black cloak, and a bizarre bundle of clothing, Cohen strutted down the catwalk past the shows' models.

But the police were called when he refused to leave to restore order.

Scantily clad models screamed and security guards dived on him and several others with him and bundled them away. TV footage screened on Italian TV showed Cohen dressed as his creation Bruno, a flamboyant Austrian fashionista.

Cohen is in Milan working on a new film called Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male.

I read how he refused to marry his baby's mama unless she converted to judaism. He acts like he's all cutting edge and unconventional when he's really a conservative. Too Bad.

As much as I love Sacha, I think this film is gonna flop. The whole gay thing is so passe - especially after the far more controversial zoophile-rights comedy, called "Coming Soon"! (If you haven't seen it yet, do so quickly! It's still streaming for free at http://www.comingsoon.cz.)

Borat was PURE genius, BRUNO is a bit out-dated. Let's hope I'm wrong!!!

Saw a portion of "Coming Soon", very fascinating. Not the least bit offensive as many most would expect. Cohan likes to point out the often hypocritical, inhumane aspects of our cultures. "Coming Soon" seems to be a celebration of love. A big difference in tone and intent.

Is that Charity as in 'sweet charity', or 'charity begins at home'?

LMAO at the "boot" and the pillow.

Hilarious.

looks like Cohen is trying to be the new Andy Kaufman.

Someone needs to follow SBC around and expose what arrogant self-serving a**es he and his crew really are.

I know. Something not right about him.

you know, i think i agree. he just rubs me the wrong way - and while i know that IS his intent, it means i haven't seen his last film, only heard about it, and while this story interests me, there's not much i will do to fill out his dance card when it comes to seeing his films or buying/renting his dvds. sorry. even andy kaufman got to me after awhile. these types of performance "artists" tend to think they are omnipotent and that the joke is on everyone else when in the end, they tend to look like asses even to those of us who like dark, crazy humor.

what do you have against SBC? I think he's doing a service to our respective communities via his various personas. Disruptive? Maybe, but at the same time he's forcing us to evaluate ourselves. And if we get to laugh at ourselves, all the better.

He looks like he's high!
04:33 PM on 09/27/2008
This is getting old. He either thinks he's better than the rest of the world, is too cheap to pay for his own sets and extras, or both. He deserves to start spending some nights in jail for the disruptions.

Uh, great ensemble, Borat!

Mocking the world of High Fashion may be a cheap shot, but as long as that world continues to exist - seducing millions of gullible, insecure people into an expensive game of status enhancement and self-absorbed superficiality - it's a shot worth taking. Go SBC!

oh well. not everything works. you try different things... How did he get up on the runway anyway? he must have had some confederates backstage. I would have been more impressed if he were decked out well enough to get a standing o. had come up with a real fashion statement. He has the look. he has the height.

the "outfit" he chose was the cop out. More clownie than satirical..

LOVE YA ANYWAY BORAT for ever!!!!!!!!!

Even looking at the stills, I don't recognise him as SBC. That blond wig/hair changes him completely, and I've seen him several times as Bruno.

In his last film he made fun of Americans. Maybe he plans on making fun of Europeans with this film. The whole culture of youth obsession and the shallowness of being "in" or "out" by people who take themselves so seriously is ripe for parody.

Now what?

He held up a mirror to Americans. Americans made a*_es of themselves!

Al G was mostly making fun of British ignorant knee-jerk multi-culturalist thing and pomposity. Bruno is 100% European thing. Borat simply filmed in US ( and Romania) but the themes are universal.

Yeah, you're so right: multiculturalism is awful, and the real reason for every trouble in the world.

Once again, the triple-K is oh-so-so proud of you...
