It looks like the Angry McCain meme is going mainstream: During tonight's broadcast, Inside Edition played excerpts from John McCain's testy editorial board interview with the Des Moines Register, saying he "appeared frustrated" with criticism of Sarah Palin.

That's right: Inside Edition is playing video of Angry McCain. That can't be good news for him.

Update Here's the the video:

Also, DMR has posted the full video of the interview (one hour long) if you happen to feel like torturing yourself.

Talk about testy...he looks like he'd really rather take a swing at the lady asking the question than respond to her in a "civil" manner. I don't think any of us Obama supporters can even dream about celebrating yet, but I think the McCain campaign is starting to implode. Good riddance!

This has been his his operating mode since childhood, the following link to an article coming out may cure forever that urge to vote McCain, see for yourself "Make-Believe Maverick" by Tim Dickinson. http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/make_believe_maverick_the_real_john_mccain/page/3 Even if you only accept a small part of this investigative report, after this you will understand the duplicitous and mischievous construct of John McCain's campaign.
To all the Republicans out there, surely you cannot aspire to let this ticket reach the White House, it would be cause for reckless endangerment of your fellow citizens to facilitate such an outcome.
Surely those who are proud of the values and traditions of this badly Bush/Cheney battered party cannot further discredit their heritage with the spectacle offered.

Send the link as afar as possible so other may form a better documented opinion

McCain's anger is his Achilly's Heel - the american people are terrified of it. And it doesn't take much to provoke it - he is extremely reactive. Obama would do well to do more counterpunching in the next debate with the honest facts that are so readily available for his use.

ANGRY OLD MAN ALERT. Boy, ol' man McCain can be sarcastic. The reasons could be many and varied. Gas, suffering from that "bloated" feeling. Needs to up his intake of fibre. Grandchildren just called him old yellow teeth. The velcro is wearing out on the waistband of his trousers. Had been to the bathroom 23 times during the night. His ride-on mower broke down. Went to the wrong house and yelled, "Honey, I'm home" Burdened down by lies and deceit.
Or, maybe, just perhaps, he is thinking to himself, "What the hell was I thinking when I picked Sarah Palin to be my VP".

Its so funny everyone says John McCain needs a Life Alert - While it is a great product, Im not sure if he needs one just yet.

There are times when McCain is completely delusional in this meeting. He simply cannot admit to the truth when it hits him in the face. Sound like another Republican we know? God help us if these two get elected.

After 8 years of George Bush, voting for John McCain is like changing seats on the Titanic...

One thing's for sure...McCain isn't standing up for Sarah Palin. He's standing up for himself and his decisionmaking. After all, McCain's experienced, right? He knows that a risky VP pick is a double-edged sword...it stirs things up but leaves that person exposed to criticism. That's what risk is all about. He's a big boy, he knows that. This has nothing to do with Sarah Palin...John McCain's anger is all about John McCain.

The "torturing comment" is totally out of line. John McCain's got a patent on the topic.

This fits well.

Here is a song some of you may enjoy about the holy roller wanna be John McCain:
