What an embarassment to Americans. The good thing is Obama is pulling ahead in the polls so American voters are starting to appear a lot more informed and mature then what was perceived immediately after the GOP convention. When McCain surged in the polls America started to become a laughing stock world wide but now it seems most are just laughing at Palin and McCain going down the drain.
It is an embarrasment. Do you think Margaret Thatcher winked? Do you think Golda Meir winked, or even Hillary Clinton, Madelyn Albright? Mrs Palin is a joke to all women who have tried to change this world.

I have it on good authority that deep within the bowels of the GOP Fortress of Solitude is a team of behaviorists dedicated to conditioning nervous ticks into high level politicians. Candidates are lightly sedated, strapped to a table and administered electric shocks to the eyelids as they watch a tape loop of Rush Limbaugh delivering GOP talking points. The technique is still experimental and controversial. Results were excellent with Bush II, an occasional message reminding the viewer that "hey, we both know I'm a dumb ass, but how 'bout them tax breaks"? Results were less successful with John McCain - he can't deliver a speech without looking like he is desperately trying to signal something in Morse Code. His experience with wall taping communications with fellow POWs was not factored into the conditioning procedure. Palin was a botched rush job ("what, 5 weeks"), resulting in an awkward combination of wink and bang flutter that subliminally reminds viewers "you betcha - I'm totally in over my head."
