I repeat my call for Tina to stop doing her SP impression because she is making SP considerably more likeable than SP is on her own. Here is a excerpt from today's NYT in which Lorne Michaels is quoted (link below).

"Ms. Fey"s take on Ms. Palin has all but defined the candidate, who has resisted media coverage. Mr. Michaels said that circumstance may not be all bad for Ms. Palin. He noted that Will Ferrell"s performance on the show as George W. Bush never damaged that candidate, malapropisms and all.

'So much of it is casting," Mr. Michaels said. 'If Will Ferrell plays George Bush, they like Bush more. "Strategery" was entirely forgivable because he seemed like a guy they liked.'"

Tina Fey is hilarious as always! Her skills just get sharper and sharper. Please don't let the rumor of a Pallin appearance on SNL be true! That would be awful because she'll just be doing a phony parody of herself that will ring false and will make SNL seem cheap.

HEY did anyone catch "Little Britain U.S.A." on Sun. night Oct. 5th? In their "Prime Minister of England visits Washington" sketch, they cast a good-looking tall black actor (nailed Obama's look and dignity, style) and a lovely actress as the First Lady who looked much like Michele! VERY significant, I'd say. But have read nothing about it.
