As you may have seen below, our interview with Jeff Toobin had a special guest star: Peggy Noonan. She was so special that Glynnis MacNicol and I corralled her into staying for another interview, one which we've been excited about for weeks, ever since we cajoled a promise out of her to join our vlog back during the conventions. We've been semi-stalking her ever since (hi Peggy! That was us at the New Yorker conference!) and she graciously agreed to join us on camera at the conference on Monday. As you'll see from the 15-minute clip below, once we had her we really, really, really didn't want to let her go. Watch it and hear her talk about her time interning at Mademoiselle, how she felt when her ex-boss Dan Rather clashed with her current boss in the White House whose name was "Bush," and when you're too damn old to be a speechwriter. Also, I really meant it about the makeup. Skirts, talent, bar fridges and 14 other minutes of fun below!

I've often referrred to Peggy Noonan as the most dangerous conservative of them all,. Her high intellect is capable of fashioning an argument that could persuade someone that up is down. I only watched the last clip, but I now realize that she is even more dangerous than I suspected- because she also seems to be a very genuine and likable person. Be afraid, be very afraid...
