What a beautiful family; so obviously loving. I want a family like that!

PS: Where are all the neo-cons who are so obsessed with family values?? I say to them, "Behold!"
I don't know how they can keep their heads from exploding.

I couldn't be happier about the results of the election. I feel proud of America for the first time in a long time. I voted for Barack Obama, not because of his color, but because he appeared to me to be a man of integrity, a man who would unite this country, a man who could lead. His color did not matter. I DO believe with all my heart that, even though I am white, Obama is my president too. This is our very best chance to unite. Let's ALL celebrate.

I've been awake since 2 am GMT. I noticed quite a few neighbors awake as well. I am giddy with excitement, but mostly I'm just filled with hope. I only wish Toot was able to enjoy this night as well.
Take care America!
Yes we can!

Just celebrating our new president and his family!

We must pray for this precious family. What a joy it will be to watch those
pretty girls grow up in the White House!

Those girls just melt my heart. I can't wait to see them grow up as "our" girls.

Beautiful, authentic loving family.

A family America can be proud of.

A family for the 21st Century.

To all of you: It is wonderful to log onto this website and see all your positive comments. No four letter words. No name calling. No false accusations. I realize we are all "preaching to the choir" but it is wonderful to be connected to like-minded people. I volunteered for Obama in Reno and was delighted to see so many positive, intense, committed, articulate people there. Thank you all for being you and speaking out. I'm proud to feel like I'm part of the group!

When I see Obama with his family brings tears to my eyes. What love. Also the pictures with his Grandmother. He exudes such inner strength love for him to write a book about how he has come so far not just as President but the inner strength he seems to have achieved.

How anyone could look at these pictures of Obama with his family and look back on the many biographies about the way he was raised and the decisions he has made with respect to his career and still say these hateful mean things.....I just don't understand.

When I look at the way McCain and his pitbull Palin have run their election....it is easy to understand why they will probably lose this election. Palin (who claims to be so religious) should know this old saying:

"God don't like ugly".

I can't wait for them to name Obama the official winner so that Palin can officially SHUT UP!

When my elderly conservative father tells me that Obama "scares him" - gee, wonder why that would be? - I tell him that nothing is more important to me than the future of my 6-year-old son. I look at these pix of Obama w/ the precious Sasha and Malia, and KNOW that the decisions he'll make as president will be good ones for their future and, therefore, for my son's future too.

What a beautiful first family it's going to be! (Especially when those girls get their dog - which will hopefully, in true Democratic fashion, be a homeless rescue dog!)

'Wishing the Obamas strength and sanity in the coming days!

Perhaps you can share this Obama slide show with your father and point out that these images bring back memories of good times with him and that's one of the reasons you're voting for Barack.

I lumped it in 2000. I lumped it in 2004 (and 5, 6, 7, and most of this year). Now, :>) what's not to like?!

"That one" just has to win! I, like others who've posted, haven't been this energized by an election in a long time. No matter the outcome, I thank Obama for giving me back my passion for politics and believe in the system....and I'm an old cynic! :-)
