Luke Russert appeared on "The Martha Stewart Show" Thursday morning, where he got a cooking lesson as he and Martha made spaghetti carbonara.
Luke didn't know he had to add salt to the water when making pasta, and he wasn't exactly sure how to beat eggs — so Martha gave him a lesson in whisking.
"I really have no idea what I'm doing," Luke said, "so it's great. You're starting with a real rookie."
"Use your wrist, like this," Martha instructed him. "Are you a sportsman? This is like, you're going to prepare yourself for that shot."
"I'm wheeling in the marlin right here," Luke said.
Later, Martha and Luke discussed dancing around the kitchen (Martha dances to Vivaldi in her kitchen, she told Luke) and Martha instructed budget-conscious viewers that if paper towels are too expensive, they can use "the editorial page of you-know-what."
