Parents Join Education Funding Lawsuit

A dozen individuals are joining the Chicago Urban League in a lawsuit against the state of Illinois over education funding.

The Chicago Urban League says Illinois discriminates against minority students by primarily funding schools using property taxes.

The league's Cheryle Jackson says schools in poorer areas get less money, disproportionally hurting minority students.
