Google CEO Eric Schmidt Backs Obama, Will Hit Campaign Trail

Google Inc. Chief Executive Eric Schmidt will hit the campaign trail this week on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, signaling Mr. Schmidt's push for a greater voice in politics while giving the Obama campaign a boost from a highly desirable constituency.

Although the Internet-search company has numerous issues pending on Capitol Hill, Mr. Schmidt said in an interview that "I'm doing this personally," adding that "Google is officially neutral" in the campaign.

I once worked under him and he does not take this endorsement lightly. Now what about Bloomberg? What's he waiting for?

This is actually somewhat surprising considering his recent interviews. In the interviews I have seen him give in the last few months he really seemed to lead towards the economic policies of the Republican camp.

Because they know that we are ALL connected you cant have the middle class suffering and expect to do well financially in this country you need a strong middle class to push people from poverty and to make the upper classes more succesful.

Its in their interest to support Obama.
