Madonna And Guy "Struggling For A While," Accusations Of Spying

Another day, another day of Madonna news. Trudie Styler, wife of Sting and the woman who introduced Madonna to Guy Ritche, told reporters the divorcing pair have had problems for awhile.

She told Access Hollywood: "I love them both.

"They're both dear friends of mine and all good things sometimes come to an end.

"Obviously they've been struggling for a while.

"I think they're destined to become great pals."

But maybe not great pals, another report is true. The Sun claims that Madonna is having Guy spied on.

Guy, 40, was furious that details of a private divorce "war summit" were leaked to his wife, The Sun can reveal.

He believes the pop queen is using her huge staff to report his every move. Guy has slammed what he calls Madonna's underhand tactics.

He has even compared her approach to their split as being like "something concocted by the KGB", raging at her: "This is a divorce, not the Cold War."

A close family friend said yesterday: "Any hopes Guy had of their divorce being private and dignified are out the window.

"The allegations he was a cruel and neglectful husband have torn him apart so much that he invited his father and sister to the house on the weekend for dinner.

"They discussed the divorce and how Guy could stand his ground against Madonna and her PR machine."

But the friend said Guy was stunned to discover Madonna, 50, knew about the dinner and had been keeping tabs on him for days.

Meanwhile Madonna is in New York, and Monday watched daughter Lourdes at gymnastics:

yesterday afternoon she watched daughter Lourdes take her weekly private gymnastic training at Chelsea Piers Field House, with two bodyguards along for the ride. My source says that Madonna paid minimal attention to the proceedings, disappeared for a while, then returned. Lourdes, they say, is very athletic, just like mom and dad Carlos Leon.

And Gwyneth Paltrow says she's team Madonna, all the way.
