Details magazine and Gotham indie film vet Larry Meistrich are teaming on a novel promotion whereby they will produce a film from the best idea submitted by a reader.
No genre or concept is out of bounds and submissions can take the form of anything from a few sentences to a finished screenplay. The winner will appeal to "intelligent, modern, metropolitan men," the magazine says. Its budget and financing will be determined after the winner is chosen.
There is a $10 fee for entries, but that includes a year's subscription.
