Tina Fey appeared on Conan Tuesday night and talked about 3-year-old daughter Alice, having Sarah Palin at SNL with her pregnant daughter Bristol and how great it was to hug Oprah on camera for "30 Rock." (Hugging Oprah is "everything you want it to be... it's like going to a spa for a week.")

According to Fey, when Sarah Palin ("she was nice") guested on "Saturday Night Live," she asked Fey where Alice had gone as the show approached. Fey told Conan:

"Gov. Palin was like, 'Oh did Alice go home? Oh, cause Bristol woulda babysat.' She offered Bristol Palin to babysit Alice... And it was Bristol's birthday, too. I was like yeah, that's exactly what 17-year-old Bristol Palin wants to do at SNL is babysit the toddler of the lady that gooks on her mom... but they're a nice family"

Also, Alice gets confused telling Sarah Palin and Tina Fey apart, and Fey let Alice watch "Psycho.

I heard this quote on KUDO radio up here in Anchorage. Women voting for Palin is like a chicken voting for colnol sanders. I want everyone to know that not all Alaskans love Palin. There have been some very exciting demonstrations for Obama and other demos such as Alaskan Women Reject Palin. You can google those...good coverage, great pictures. Yes, Alaska is a red state...some of us are RED with embarrassment. It's our 50th anniversary of statehood and we may very well elect a convicted felon as senator. HELP US ALL!

So much to make jokes of when it comes to Palin, so little time !

I wish Tina had done a fake pregnancy skit !!!!

THREE DAYS TO GO AND STILL NO MEDICAL RECORDS FROM PALIN www.palindeception.com

"Dr. Baldwin-Johnson is a central figure in this entire story, yet has been almost completely silent and out of the public eye." Is she afraid that she may lose her license if the story turns out to be true??? YOU BETCHA she is, and she should be!!!!

Is Dr Baldwin-Johnson related to Levi .... Bristol's Baby Daddy?? Wasilla is a small town! Are they circling the wagons???

LOOKS LIKE IGNORING THIS ISSUE HAS WORKED !!!! THE MEDIA HAS NOT PRESSED HER ON OUR BEHALF AND NOW SHE IS GETTING AWAY WITH IT >>> ANOTHER BUSH/CHENEY TACTIC

IGNORE THE PEOPLE AND THEY GIVE UP!!!!

For a well-written and factual BLOG on why this is important .. take a few minutes to read THIS ... then write to all the NEWS agencies and DEMAND that they NOT LET PALIN GET AWAY with this!!

ONCE AGAIN: THE REPUBLICANS ARE MAKING FOOLS OF ALL OF US!!!!!!!!

This blogger makes sense! http://www.palindeception.com/ take a few minutes to read this

Surely the MEDIA have reporters who could have checked this out???

Let's face it: Say Ruh's children are stage props... she figures it reinforces the apple pie, nice soccer mom who lives next store persona. A more dedicated mom would have seen that her daughter had a nice birthday party and could go out with friends or do what she wanted for the day; instead of dragging her around on the set of SNL.
I will concede, that as a teenager she might have enjoyed being on the set of SNL, but still... I think people who achieve celebrity need to keep their children out of the limelight as much as possible. Most celebrities understand this, and do a fine job of it. I will be glad when Say-Ruh goes back home to enjoy her personal view of Russia, from her kitchen window, and I suspect her children will be MUCH better off.

I think there are a lot of girls Bristol's age who would love to be on the set of SNL...please!

I love people who suddenly become so righteous about mothering skills if it is a Republican...

Fey is funny and very cool. I kinda had a feeling that she didn't really want to meet Palin, but she made the best of an awkward situation.

An adult wpuld act civilly in such a situation.

I'm surprised there haven't been more comments regarding Sarah Palin's constant exploitation of her children. The most obvious has been her disregard for her 17 year-old daughter's situation. I doubt many pregnant teenage girls want to be placed on a national stage. But most disturbing to me has been 7 year-old Piper's appearances at virtually every Palin rally! The pace for an adult (who has chosen to run) is relentless. Why is this little girl subjected to this? She has no choice. God help her and her siblings.

I have been asking the blogs for weeks why these children are not in school. As no one answered, I have come to the conclusion that the Palins are using this as one big vacation on GOP $. I cannot wait for this circus family to go home.

AK families are SUPER BIG for homeschooling. No doubt thesechildren will be experts in poli sci when the campaign's over (not).

Uh, homeschooling?
09:16 PM on 10/31/2008
Obviously children are chattel to the Palins.

Honor, Courage, Commitment!
Senator McCain and his wife both stated that he would take the “high rode” in this campaign. He has not! He is more negative than Bush was to him in 2000. He is a hypocrite! He invokes hatred and division. He doesn’t want to see the Country united! What happened to “Country First?” He will do & say anything to win this election. I’m so sick of him and his Barbie doll, Palin.

A Little Straight Talk:
1. Obama mentions “Spread the Wealth, “now he’s called a Socialist by McCain and Palin!
THE SPIN:
"Barack Obama calls it spreading the wealth. Joe Biden calls higher taxes patriotic," Palin told a crowd in Roswell, N.M., and elsewhere. "But Joe the Plumber and Ed the Dairyman, I believe they think it sounds more like socialism. "Friends, now is no time to experiment with socialism."
Palin also stated “Spread the Wealth”
THE FACTS:
In Alaska, residents pay no income tax or state sales tax. They receive a yearly dividend check from a $30 billion state investment account built largely from royalties on its oil. When home fuel and gas costs soared last year, Palin raised taxes on big oil and used some of the money to boost residents' checks by $1,200. Thus every eligible man, woman and child got a record $3,269 this fall.
She also suspended the 8-cent tax on gas.
"We can afford to share resource wealth with Alaskans and to temporarily suspend the state fuel tax," she said at the time.
Much as Obama explains his tax hike on the rich as a way to help people who are struggling, Palin's statement talked about the energy costs burdening Alaskans:

I'll miss Tina Fey's impersonation of Palin. (hopefully)

Palin is so full of venom. I question anyone who lies and says she is a nice person.
11:40 AM on 10/31/2008
They lie so much. Bristol just turned 17. They made it seem she was already 17. I also still believe Trig is hers too.
10:09 AM on 10/31/2008
I think it's right to assume Palin maaaaay have used a racist term, although it wasn't said there. Find the 30 Black people in the hometown where she was mayor: http://newsone.blackplanet.com/elections/video-exclusive-smokey-fontaine-goes-to-wasilla-alaska/

See what they have to say about her social lean.

By the way, HuffPo, you might want to check your transcription -- above, where you say, "... the toddler of the lady that gooks on her mom... but they're a nice family" -- I'm pretty sure she said "goofs" on her mom. As far as I know "gook" is still a derogatory word and furthermore, it doesn't mean anything in this context.
