Over the next two days, John McCain and Barack Obama will maintain a break-neck pace to the finish line as they criss-cross the country several times to make appearances and lead rallies in battleground states.

OBAMA-BIDEN'S SCHEDULE:

On Sunday, Obama leads rallies in Ohio - Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati - and running mate Joe Biden covers Florida, appearing at rallies in Daytona Beach, Gainesville and Tallahassee.

On Monday, Obama plans to appear in Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte, NC and Manassas, VA before flying back to Chicago late at night. Meanwhile, Biden will jump from Philadelphia, PA to Copley, OH and Lee's Summit, MO and Zanesville, OH. And Michelle Obama will greet crowds in Littleton, CO and North Las Vegas, NV.

MCCAIN-PALIN'S SCHEDULE:

On Sunday, McCain leads rallies in Wallingford, PA and Scranton, PA before heading to Peterborough, NH and ending the night with a rally in Miami, FL. Running mate Sarah Palin is all over the crucial battleground of Ohio, starting the day in Canton before going to Marietta, Columbus and Owensville.

On Monday, McCain will spend much of the day in the air while traveling to six states - starting the day in Tampa, FL, he then heads to Blountville, TN and Moon Township, PA, Indianapolis, IN, Roswell, NM, Henderson, NV and ending the night with a midnight rally in Prescott, AZ.
Palin continues in Ohio, starting in Lakewood before moving on to Jefferson City, MO and Dubuque, IA and Colorado Springs, CO before finishing in Reno and Elko, NV.

The poverty and Corporate Socialism happens when Republican leaders are in charge. The economic numbers are not there to back up Republicans claims.

On the ground, here in NE Indiana, the squawking from the remaining 25% that approve of Bush's job... those people have reached a fevered pitch. They are all certain we're doomed to a future of poverty and socialism. *grin*

Too much Sean Hannity and that's what happens.

Ain't it telling that 72 year old war hero, maverick and soon to be president John McCain is out on the stump in 7 states while so-called "youngster" Barack Obama can only manage 3. Maybe the elite liberal Obama oughta be eating more prime American steak instead of cavier and champagne and what have you.

I think he would feel more at home over there in Europe eating prawns with the other socialists.

I don't mean to be mean about Obama but I do mean to say that though he may be a kind man, Obama ain't where we were, he ain't where were at and he sure ain't where were going.

Its more like McCain NEEDS to be in 7 states and Obama only NEEDS to be in 3 because your candidate pretty much is done. Candidate John McCain, put a fork in him, he's done.

The old 72 year old is desperate and the young one isn't. Nuff said.

The advantage of leading in the polls of 5 of those 7 states that McCain is making last second stops at is that you've already made your selling point, and that you don't need to waste your time there.
John McCain has no idea how we got into this mess that W and his Neo-Con crazy's started by giving extra money to the ultra rich who in turn didn't do a damn thing to help the economy and now McCain thinks that's a good idea to continue.
Obama knows where this country is today and where we need to go now.
He has my support and the support of the majority of America.

Two things - how many cities is Obama visiting in each state? But more importantly, maybe if McCain had worked weekends earlier in the campaign he wouldn't have to have a 2 am rally to talk with supporters. It's a little late in the campaign to develop a ground game.

This may be a little off topic but, may be on this last day we well see the John McCain that was on SNL this weekend and the one that Maureen Dowd said she misses in the op-ed of yesterday's NYT. I do not agree with any of his policies and will vote for Obama but, it would have been nice to see the "Mac" all these months, at least we could have smiled, even if we did not agree with his views or vote for him.

I had read yesterday that McCain was holding a rally in Prescott, AZ at 11:00 a.m. today. It now seems the rally is scheduled for midnight, instead.

I was considering attending with my dog, both of us dressed in our Obama regalia in silent protest. (I used fabric paint to make an Obama-logo "saddle" for my dog.) But I don't live in Prescott and didn't realize how red the area is until I did a little online research (in hopes of finding like-minded Obama supporters who planned to attend) and only found some rather rabid comments from McCain supporters.

So I'm staying home, in deference to the safety of both me and my dog. But as a result, I'll be up bright and early tomorrow so I can go and proudly cast my vote for President Obama. :-)

What the hoot is McCain doing in TENNESSEE the day before the election????

Does he think that he's running against Al Gore????

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 02:02 PM on 11/03/2008

My thoughts exactly. Blountville is right in the heart of East Tennessee, about as Republican an area as you will find in the state, why he would be there on election eve is beyond me.

I live in Pennsylvania and urge everyone everywhere: VOTE AS IF YOU LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!

I am so concerned about vote fraud and inaccurate tallies. If there is a landslide vote, I am hopeful it will offset any GOP tricks that may be planned.

Don't give up on the last day! Stange things can happen and the media is doing it's best to try to get white voters to change to McCain when inside the booth. Keep the pressure on and get people to vote. I don't believe the polls as I think they want to encourage Obama supporters to not go to the polls because they said Obama will win. We need every vote, in every state. Don't let up. Those of you volunteering in the crucial states, keep calling, keep canvasing. I cannot stand that there is even a possibility that McCain could win or even be close. KEEP UP THE PRESSURE AND KEEP GETTING OUT THE VOTE!

McCain in TN looks like he's about had it -sounded like it too. Really, he's old.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 12:46 PM on 11/03/2008

He is old and mean, has always been mean and vicious. I don't think I will be able to take a deep breath until Obama is declared the winner. I am very, very scared of McCain and his dirty tricks. I live in Arizona and know so many things about him. I am a practicing Catholic who is voting my conscience, which is for Obama. I have to listen to people who believe all the lies being put out by McCain and it makes me sick. It IS possible to be a liberal and also a Catholic. I am.
