McCain Campaign Spreads Faulty Information About MN Voting Requirements

The Minnesota Independent :

An e-mail to Minnesotans from the McCain-Palin campaign gets the state's same-day voting requirements wrong. The Minnesota Independent's Andy Birkey spotted the errors: The e-mail erroneously states that anyone registering at the polling place needs both an ID and a current bill, and it omits the option of having another voter from the same precinct vouch for you.

The truth is, if you have a registered voter from your precinct vouch for you, you don't need ID, and if you bring a Minnesota driver's license or learner's permit, a Minnesota photo ID, or a tribal photo ID with signature, you don't need to also bring a bill.

I hope that all of these individuals that are involved in these attempts to disrupt a fair election are identified and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Jail time needs to be given and all future voting rights taken away. This goes for both Democrats and Republicans.
