Is it just my imagination or is this the first presidential acceptance speech that included us gay people?

Thank you everyone! This is a truly momentous day in our history.

This is a great place and Arianna will be listed as one of the true heroes of this moment.

I'm changing my name. I will be back.

Thank heaven! Now we can try to move forward with hope that we can come together and make good things happen. For those who are sick with disappointment tonight, most of us can sympathize because we have also felt that way in the past. However, let's try to work together now--we all need each other. I thought McCain's speech was very gracious. And Obama's was totally awesome.

I see that the open minded, tolerant liberals have already deleted my comment that we got the best president that $700,000,000.00 can buy.

Actually, your comment posted twice ...
Time to come together for the good of our country ... and Obama is the leader to make that happen. No more red state / blue state ... it's time for us to change for the better of our country.

Ron, that is such a sad case of sour grapes you have. The Republicans typically bring in tons more money than the Dems; That they didn't this time demonstrates to me that they decided their ticket wasn't worth it. I keep hearing all sorts of boo-hooing and cries of "foul" from Republicans. I live in the strongest Republican county in Wisconsin and when I looked up the political donations from my zip code, the majority were to Obama. I did not expect that. Nor do I expect a candidate to not use those funds to spread truth to counter the heinous lies and distortions coming from the right-leaning 527s and the McCain-Palin campaign.

We have gotten the best president that $700,000,000+ can buy.

Obama has over 51% of the popular vote, I believe it has been since 1976, since any Democrat got over that percentage!
I am so happy and excited for the future of this country!

If this is the future of the Republican Party, we better start getting out the vote for Obama for 2012!

Not to gloat, but I can not wait to see Morning Joe and Sean Hannity....

Oh, why not. I am gloating! :)

Older relatives in my family are crying and fireworks are going off in my neighborhood.

Oh Happy Day!

As Hannity said yesterday ...
Wednesday begins "Conservatives in Exile" ...so over the top! I can hear O'Reilly now talking about how he'll keep Obama in line. Assuming, of course, he has time after protecting us for "false and misleading" Neilsen Rating reports.

One of the first things the new Congress should do is re-enact the Fairness Doctrine and really have the HannityandLimbaugh twins blowinggaskets.
