Obama: "It Will Be Fun To See How The Story Ends"

Via Newsweek, Barack Obama chatted with reporters on his plane last night en route to Chicago:

Obama: You guys have been gracious, outstanding, reasonably easy for our crack team here and you know whatever happens tomorrow it's extraordinary you guys have shared this process with us and I just want to say thank you and I appreciate you.

Kathy Kiely: How are you feeling Senator?

Obama: I am not going to come back and answer any questions here, Kathy. Even though you can feel free to keep your tape recorders on. Get some sleep starting on Wednesday.

Reporter: I'm sorry about your Grandmother.

Obama: I know you guys have sent a lot of emails individually, collectively. It is very gracious. Embeds--they have been there for the start. Thank you guys, thank you guys.

(Walks to the back of the plane)

Obama: This is finally starting to look like the original plane. It took a while to get that old feeling again. Is everyone giving [NEWSWEEK's Richard] Wolffe a sufficiently hard time about being a feature on Saturday Night Live?

Reporter: Scout--It's her birthday you know.

Obama: Let me give you a birthday kiss. OK guys, let's go home. It will be fun to see how the story ends.

And hopefully, when Obama wins, we will begin to see plenty of secret service protection around him. This campaign has been a nail biter due to the huge crowds Obama was in the middle of with no visible barrier to keep him safe from the lunatic fringe. Maybe now, the nation can breathe a collective sigh of relief. I have been a nervous wreck.

I live near Chicago and am well aware of how some of the people there and also
in nearby Gary, Ind celebrate.­....

No matter if you win or lose, hopefully. the gang bangers and other wannbe hoodlums
with their guns will have enough sense to not ruin the ending of this election and do their
celebrating the way you would expect them to do.

Too many gangs in both those areas think nothing of using guns for whatever reason they
see fit. I hate to think of what will happen if McCain would by chance win this election.
I hope Mayor Daley has plenty of manpower on the streets tonight.

Well, the first covenant God made with Abraham's family was between a man and a woman, Abraham and Sarah, though Abraham sired Ishmael by Sarah's maid Hagar as well. That covenant was passed down to son Isaac and Rebecca, and then to their son Jacob (later Israel), who married Leah and Rachel and also sired sons via Leah's and Rachel's maids Bilhah and Zilpah. Leah's son Judah ended up (it's a long story) siring a son by his daughter-i­n-law...Al­l of these families were approved and blessed by God. So it would seem that the testimony of the word of God about marriage is, well, mixed.
