And while Obama is still keeping a low profile since getting off the plane earlier this afternoon in Chicago, his supporters are out in full force, having gathered in Chicago's Grant Park more than 4 hours before the democratic presidential candidate's scheduled appearance.

I had the pleasure of being in Grant Park when CNN declared Obama the next President of the United States. The air was electric. People were screaming and crying. It was a true melting pot and there were people from all over the world. I am so blessed to have witnessed history.

Everyone give themselves a pat on the back-those of you who waited in long lines to vote, made phone calls, knocked on doors, gave $, put bumper stickers on your cars, whatever. This win is the result of a massive effort on behalf of a lot of people. It bodes well for our country that Obama was able to put together a masterful campaign. We all deserve it after the 8 years of hell we just came through.
