WE ARE!!! PENN STATE!!!

I was a poll worker all day today in Centre County, PA (not on campus), and we had an amazing student turnout. In a precinct where I have voted for the past 15 years, and have never ever experienced a line at all, we had a line about 40 people deep. We were efficient and expedient, and no one waited more than a half hour.

Pennsylvania is Obama country. I am positive.

Come on Purdue and Indiana, join the Big Ten. Count it for "that one" baby.

The very few have always controlled the masses through encouraging discrimination between races, religions, ethnicity, gender, and ideologies. Eradicating racism is the first major step toward a truly democratic society.

When we eradicate discriminations between the masses, we diminish and destroy the power of the very few tyrants among us who would make us all slaves.

Obama is the worse nightmare of these tyrants like the Bush would-be-dictators.

I'm so proud of all you young people! I don't think your vote was counted by the pollsters as you are not 'likely' voters. Here in Massachusetts I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes to vote and find it unimaginable that people in swing states are forced to stand in line for hours. To see all those young, largely white people - many voting for Obama (I'm not naive enough to believe none of you are voting for McCain); in my later years on Earth I have great hope for the future. My African-American ancestors are no longer here to see this day so i'm going to shed a tear tonight on all their behalfs.

Just voted for That One around 3:30 PM (Pittsburgh, PA suburbs) and didn't have to wait in line at all. A friend of mine just called and said after she was done voting (Municipal Building in Cranberry Township, PA) and left the building some Republican was collecting signatures for a petition to hold back the Pennsylvania electoral votes until Obama's birth certificate is produced and clearly shows that he can actually run for president. I thought that issue was settled a long time ago. Are these people nuts? My friend who voted for Obama naturally did not sign the petition.

That petition just shows the level of desperation some people are feeling. They are worried that someone who is not white on top of those muscles, blood, and fat might actually win this time.

Obama needs people to make phone calls--check out DailyKos.

I can't do it--knocked on 400-500 doors in the last 2 days along with some phone calling. I'm a little older--and I'm blind exhausted.

Can some of you make 30-40 calls? Go to the Obama website to get the lists.
