Just after 11 EST, 7 am in Alaska, Sarah Palin arrived at her local polling place in Wasilla to cast her vote. She talked and laughed with her fellow voters, including husband Todd. After voting, she took a moment to speak to reporters and voice her confidence in a McCain win.

BUT, asked who she voted for, Palin refused:
"I don't have to tell anyone who I vote for! Nobody does. And that's really cool about America."

I bet that she wrote in herself.

Palin said, "here in Alaska where we've cleaned up corruption..."

What an effing joke... Alaska just re-elected a CONVICTED FELON Sen. Stevens.

Sarah, after you study the CONTINENT of Africa, why don't you explain why Alaska voted in a CONVICTED FELON????

Write in vote for Charles DeGaulle to get back at Nicki Sarko Zee for making a fool of her on the radio.

Everyone has been so kind and gracious at The Huffington Post tonight, but since your party has won, can you not at least be gracious here? So many unnecessarily rude comments... I think Sarah would have been a great VP, but I'm also really happy to have our first black man elected as future President... it's an exciting time in our country, and we need to remember that despite party affiliations, we are ALL Americans and all share that common bond..... let's try to remember that. :)

You're right about the need to be gracious. It's time to start the healing process so we can once again begin thinking of ourselves as "Americans" rather than by party affiliation. Remember how we all were after 9-11?

A word in defense of those who are still raw about Sarah Palin...myself included:
She was very vicious in her attacks against Senator (President-Elect) Obama. As much as she fired up her supporters, she also fired up HIS supporters. Perhaps, at some point in the future, you might objectively review some of the nasty, and untrue, charges she made against him. I have full faith that as time passes, and you have more opportunites to get to know this man that is to be our 44th President, you will indeed realize that she lied about him in many ways, and made terribly unjust charges against him. We, his supporters and volunteers, are understandably angry for her treatment of her. Please, try to understand that.

Thank you for being here and for sharing. Maybe we'll talk here again sometime? :)

Hi LadyDriver, :)
I hope you're right in that I will see more and more that Obama is a good man and not the man others have negatively portrayed him to be.... I truly want to see and believe the best in him. Both parties have run nasty compaigns, but hopefully we can put that behind us now. By the way, I know from another remark of yours that you worked very, very hard in campaigning for him. Though I was a McCain supporter, I applaud and admire your efforts and would like to offer a congratulations. :)

"again, so very thankful for the opportunity..."

People drop the "I" a lot when speaking about themselves.... it's pretty common actually. Now that you've noticed it, you'll start seeing it a lot more. When I was a kid and first became aware of people doing this, I thought it was annoying, haha.... now, I just see it as a casual, sort of humble way to speak. Anyway... it's funny that Sarah was the first to open your eyes to this "slang" way of speaking. haha :)

Somebody tell Sarah that she can go back to Alaska now and watch to make sure the Russians don't invade us.

I'll point out to you and any other doubting Thomas out there one simple fact: not a single boot of a single Russian soldier has touched the tundra of Alaska during the years Sister Sarah has been governor. Likewise the treacherous Canucks have not dared invade either.

Pretty good job, eh?

Did anyone notice that she did not bring her youngest daughter to the polling place to experience democracy in action? I always brought my kids into the voting booth and when they could read (second grade) I even let them mark my ballot for my choice. They are now diligent voters. Palin is a monumentally lousy role model.

_ ..... Obama / Biden
_ ..... McCain / Palin
X ..... ME ME ME ME ME ME!!!

She's exercising her right to privacy? Is she aware that Roe v Wade was decided on the right to privacy? Um....

Anyone else pick up on how much crap Joe Biden takes for over-talking, yet to a simple question like "Will you tell us who you voted for?" she answers with a 2 minute ramble about nothing.

Always will be Sarah From Alaska, no doubt about that.

That's odd, because I thought I noticed lots of different questions being answered by her during that time...

Actually, she was answering a lot of UNASKED questions about irrelevant topics to the original question she was asked: Will you tell us who you voted for?

The second video starts with a full minute of rambling monologue, ten seconds of The First Dud [sic], then the actual question. Another full minute of rambling.
