Obama's Cabinet: Which Chicagoans Are Washington-Bound?

The buzzing and maneuvering and pondering has been percolating for many weeks -- unmistakably, if quietly.

But now that the winner of the White House finally has been determined, the game that's really of interest to much of the Chicago political establishment is going public. That is: which Chicagoans will accompany him when Mr. Obama goes to Washington.

f inside Obama sources are accurate in their speculation, the list is considerable and includes some very big names, including Habitat Co. President and Obama friend Valerie Jarrett, strategist David Axelrod, top business folk like Penny Pritzker and Martin Nesbitt and quite possibly U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel.

I think part of the reason Obama won is because of the way Axelrod & Plouffe ran the campaign. There has to be room in this adminstration for them somewhere!

That's who they know. I am pretty certain that his Cabinet members will be from other states. Most President's staff are from their state. However, he has over 2600 positions to fill. And, he is already getting resumes from people.
