7-year-old Sasha Obama has been in the spotlight more than half her short life, with an AP photographer first snapping the toddler in March of 2004. Through years of campaigning with dad for Senate and then President, her personality has shone through. Sasha calling, "Hi Daddy!" to her father via satellite at the DNC was almost as memorable as his speech the following night. She'll be the youngest resident of the White House since JFK's kids.

Sasha is definitely a daddy's girl. I love her spunky personality. And I hope that they are able to have as close to a normal childhood as possible in the White House.

I've been saying this same thing for more than two days, to no avail. There have been others saying the same thing, too, but we are definitely in the minority.

I'm really curious to see how long HuffPo keeps these slideshows going. As long as it attracts readers, I suppose. I'm really disappointed in this website.

I love how both girls are beautiful and unique in their own way. Malia has a quiet beauty about her. Sasha is so charismatic and adorable. The perfect American family.

It is so nice to have real people in the Whitehouse. They are real because the Obama's and the Biden's are in politics because they actually want to help make this country a better place and not because they want to become rich like so many of the other politicians (i.e. Cheney, Delay, and the rest of the repubs). Let's just hope they keep it real and aren't enticed by the dark side.

Are you suffering more from the fact that he was elected, that so many people like him, that it's the end influence for the regressive right, that he's black, that your heros have been driven out, that St. Sarah has been exposed as a fool, that the Democrats can do what the please or all of the above? Please be specific. My enjoyment of your distress would be improved if I knew just how miserable you really are.

What comes thru to me in ALL the Obama family pictures is the LOVE and ADMIRATION that they truly have for each other. As parents of six children, my husband and I are proudest of the fact that our children genuinely LIKE each other. You can see it in Sasha and Malia too.
When children come from love, it shows.
