7-year-old Sasha Obama has been in the spotlight more than half her short life, with an AP photographer first snapping the toddler in March of 2004. Through years of campaigning with dad for Senate and then President, her personality has shone through. Sasha calling, "Hi Daddy!" to her father via satellite at the DNC was almost as memorable as his speech the following night. She'll be the youngest resident of the White House since JFK's kids.

It is so nice to have real people in the Whitehouse. They are real because the Obama's and the Biden's are in politics because they actually want to help make this country a better place and not because they want to become rich like so many of the other politicians (i.e. Cheney, Delay, and the rest of the repubs). What comes thru to me in ALL the Obama family pictures is the LOVE and ADMIRATION that they truly have for each other. As parents of six children, my husband and I are proudest of the fact that our children genuinely LIKE each other. You can see it in Sasha and Malia too.
When children come from love, it shows.
