Cook County Board President Todd Stroger has dumped his budget director just weeks before the planned unveiling of the 2009 budget, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.
Jarese Wilson was ousted from her $143,418 post as part of a coming "reorganization" ordered by Stroger that's set to shake up his administration.
Sources said Wilson had made key mistakes in preparing the yet-to-be released budget. In July, Wilson was suspended for two days after making mistakes reconciling the 2008 budget.
