Obamas Eat Out For First Time Since Win

Barack and Michelle Obama had their first dinner out since the election. The pool report:

Barack and Michelle Obama left dinner at Spiaggia at 11pm Saturday night after a roughly three hour dinner.

Dressed in a dark suit and white shirt, Obama waved to an ecstatic crowd gathered across the street as he and Michelle rushed through the cold wind.

Michelle, wearing an elegant black knee-length jacket and tall black boots, held her coat closed as she walked to the waiting SUV.

The crowd continued to rejoice, hugging one another and cheering as the motorcade pulled off.
It was the couple's first dinner out together since his election victory, and they selected the same restaurant where they spent their anniversary and Michelle's birthday this year.

Spiaggia is located at 980 N. Michigan Ave.
The motorcade headed through light traffic on Lakeshore Drive to the Obama's home, where it arrived at 11:18pm.

When a great leader comes along, it seems like we just can't get enough of them. I truly believe the Obamas are such decent and ethical souls, people are just drawn to something beautiful...something we really just can't explain.

The Obama's are the Windy City's best friend as of late......they are like a walking tourism board advertisement for all things Chicago. Awesome!

One of my best friends lives in London, and she mentioned that Barack and Michelle are starting to morph into a very beautiful version of "American Royalty" with their grace and style. She is always saying that "we couldn't ask for a more striking first family".

I would tend to agree.

okay, i just saw this headline and didn't bother to read the article...skipped it and went straight to posting a comment. Why?

Because it's like reading that Lindsay Lohan got arrested (again), or Paris Hilton hosts a party in vegas (again), or Brad and Angelina adopt another baby (again), or Madonna getting divorced (again) or Elizabeth taylor getting divorced (again).

So what!. This is news? This is relevant news? How did the Obamas going out to dinner become such an event that required reporting? Should we declare "national obama dining out and eating foie gras and arugala and celebrating the beaujolais nouveau" day?

Please, just let them have their privacy and report on something relevant next time.

Oh! For pitysakes!! Get a grip! You really didn't have to stop at this article and view. Much like T.V., one can turn the channel!! Fortunately, for you, there are far more "relevant" articles out there dealing with what this country has to face with a new Pres. Elect to guide us out of the " very deep pit" which we have so carelessly been tossed. Leadership, abiding by lawful legislation, will take time and a LOT of hard work for us to see the light of day. Did you happen to click on one of those? However, I do agree.....the Obama's privacy days are pretty much over, sad to say. With the Internet at our fingertips....we don't have to wait for tomorrow's edition of the "news"! And, if we were still at that stage in our lives.....you would have seen it on the front page and not been able to immediately respond. Look at it this way.....Pres. Lyndon Johnson made the front page news pulling his dog up by the ears! What makes you think the Obama's going out to dinner is any different? God, I love America!!! Especially when she proves to house such intelligent people who vote for a true leader. My husband and I were talking .... every President eventually has a library dedicated in their honor. Would it not be so cool to have Pres. Obama's library next to the Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield IL? What a statement that would make. Two great men.... both opening doors for Americans because of their belief in the true concept of "libery and justice for all". I suppose we could have two libraries for Pres. Kennedy's class was worthy and he held his head high just as Pres. Elect Obama. I think Pres.
