Palin Refused To Go On Stage With Pro-Choice GOPers

Via The New Republic, another anecdote from Newsweek on Sarah Palin:

The day of the third debate, Palin refused to go onstage with New Hampshire GOP Sen. John Sununu and Jeb Bradley, a New Hampshire congressman running for the Senate, because they were pro-choice and because Bradley opposed drilling in Alaska. The McCain campaign ordered her onstage at the next campaign stop, but she refused to acknowledge the two Republican candidates standing behind her.

While Bradley is reported to be pro-choice, Sununu is not, at least publicly. It's not clear from the Newsweek article whether the misconception was Palin's or that of her aides.

Palin seems to have selective morals. She obviously feels it's ok to run down vicious lies but heaven forbid stand next to a pro-choicer? typical bible thumper...­.. Thank goodnes their days appear to be numbered.

During the campaign, a brilliant suggestion was floating around the internet: make a contribution, in Sarah Palin's honor, to Planned Parenthood. She'll receive a card from Planned Parenthood notifiying her of the contribution. I did this and gave her address as the McCain Headquarters. Now it might be better to just make it in honor of the Republican National Committee and send it to the RNC headquarters.

It's been repeatedly pointed out that this 'reporting' is ridiculous. Sununu is ANTI-ABORTION!!

What does it take to make the GOP realize that their Christian far right wing views will NEVER, EVER win them an election? There are simply not enough anti-abortion zealots in America to EVER win them an election, and that is basically ALL the Sarah Palin fans have in common. That and ignorance of geography. They want to stop all abortions, but not let the government pay for unwanted children. They don't want hand outs to families or single mothers that have children, and yet they promote causing millions more to become just that. It is insane.

What they should be proposing since they hate welfare or children's health care is the forced steriliztion of any male or female that has proven that they are incapable of financially or emotionally taking care of their offspring after , oh, 3 unwanted children? Any male that has 3 children he does not support financially should be neutered. Just like pet overpopulation should be stopped, so should irresponsible sperm donors that dump their children on society. Three mistakes, and then neuter them. Women and men. They have already had their civil right to have children and proven they are incapable of taking care of them. That is enough. We don't need anymore unwanted children born.
