NEW YORK — Beyonce insists she would have never considered selling photos of her hush-hush wedding to Jay-Z to a glossy celebrity magazine. Still, the singer acknowledges that she was amazed at the amount of money that was offered.

"Now, they offer crazy money that's just ridiculous," she said in a recent interview, laughing. "But in the end, absolutely not. It's so not worth it. If anything, if you wanna put something out, then put it out, not for (money)."

Beyonce and Jay-Z were married in April in an intimate ceremony in New York City.

"We worked really hard at keeping it private," she said. "I've always been this way, and he's always been this way, so that's why we complement each other. We always knew that it would be private and quiet, for all the right reasons."

Though Beyonce declined to talk about specific details, she's been more open to acknowledging her relationship in recent interviews after years of silence about it.

She's due to release her new CD, "I AM ... SASHA FIERCE," on Nov. 18. MySpace Music is giving listeners worldwide the first official preview of the CD on its Web site starting 3 a.m. EST Tuesday. The 27-year-old singer joins the list of other musicians who provide fans with an online preview of the CD in the days before its release.

Now, that is how I like my celebrities. I don't want you selling pictures. Separate your public from your private lives. Produce quality art, that is all I need and I will buy it.

Insisting that anyone let the public see their wedding photos is insane. You're already getting her music and photographs of everything she does in the public. Get a life.
Good for Ms. Knowles.

This is the problem - I understand her right to privacy and wanting to keep the wedding private etc.
But when you are an entertainer and you want the public to participate in every event or buy your CD's, come to concerts - you MUST give them a personal side of yourself. They are vested in you. Their money has made you rich - period. If it weren't for the public you wouldn't have what you have. So the very least you could do is publish a few wedding photos and then put your walls up for privacy sake. Personally, I think that was her downfall when she wouldn't at least publish two wedding pics. You can't expect so much from the public and give so little in return.

She's giving you her art in exchange for your hard earned money. Fair deal. The public should not expect to be "entitled" to private events in her life.

I won't be buying her CD, but I do enjoy her art.

There was a backlash against Beyonce on some of the black websites because of this too. I believe they must have some privacy too. I'm a believer in that. What I don't like is the fact that they want the public to enjoy everything else in their lives but Beyonce couldn't even offer one announcement that she was married? That's why I don't get into these celebs. All the public is good for is buying tickets to their concerts, buying their cds and going to their movies. Public life doesn't work that way.

Wow, MUST you say. I think its a mistake when people vest themselves in entertainers. Quite foolish actually especially for anyone over the age of 16.
