Jennifer Aniston On Angelina: "Uncool" And "Inappropriate"

Jennifer Aniston is on the December 2008 cover of Vogue (READ WHOLE THING HERE) and speaking out about Angelina Jolie.

Aniston asked the reporter, Jonathan Van Meter, to turn off the tape recorder when first asked about her ex-husband Brad Pitt's partner. Here's what she did say on the record:

On being bothered that Angelina recounted a detailed timeline of how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.

On if she ever speaks to Brad: "[We've exchanged] a few very kind hellos ... and congratulations on your babies... [We] had an amicable split ... The marriage didn't work out."

More the marriage:

"The marriage didn't work out... Pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other."

Anistonays she's been "unbelievably lucky in love," but adds, "Whoever said everything has to be forever," she says. "That's setting your hopes too high. It's too much pressure. And I think if you put that pressure on yourself ... that's unattainable."

On her romance with John Mayer: "People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up....

"It's funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize [that] we maybe need to do something else, but you still really, really love each other. It's painful. There was no malicious intent. I deeply, deeply care about him; we talk, we adore one another. And that's where it is."

On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: "Trust me, you'll never see that happen again from that man."

Jennifer Anniston, Angelina Jolie, Sassy Sasha & Piper ... Is this the Huffington Post or the National Enquirer or some such rag? Jennifer needs to get a life so we can move on to more important things like world politics. As for whether she said what she said or not there is just too much focus on what happened so many years ago (both by Jen and the media). Brad was her man and he moved on. She should rag on him to the media, rather than the other woman and get over it. Find another man, lord knows there are tons of them out there and even though she is a bit of a plain Jane she is pretty enough and can find someone besides trashy Brad. She needs to leave Brad to his attention seeking other half and move on, so we can move on to other important things in this messed up world. PLEASE!!

This is rather interesting. Angelina Jolie holds her father Jon Voight in disdain for breaking her mother’s heart buy cheating on her when they were married. The interesting part is the fact that several of the men Angelina Jolie dated had girlfriends or a wife (Jennifer Aniston) when she met them and she broke up those relationships. Perhaps deep down she realizes that she is exactly like her father (Jon Voight) which explains her erratic behavior (self loathing). Personally I think she is a whack job.

ummmm, adopting children doesnt give you the right to stomp on others. doing good doesnt give you a free pass for when you do wrong to other people. i wouldnt want to judge anyway in that situation but just know that if it were you that were stomped on in front of the world, a wound like that is heavy. and ms. jolie is not exempt from responsibility because she is a philanthropist. i am just glad my life is not in the public eye.

The thing about it is that if you are a woman going after a man and he is supposedly unavailable, but he goes for you in a big way, and the hell with the other lady, that says a lot. So just forgettabout it. No point in raking it over now, sweetie, this is years and several babies later.
