Lindsay Lohan Calls Obama "First Colored President?" (VIDEO)

Lindsay Lohan is happy Barack Obama got elected after campaigning for him this year. But, she referred to the President-Elect with a mumbled adjective at the beginning of an interview with Access Hollywood's Maria Menounos that some say is offensive. Does she say "good" or "colored?"

"It's an amazing feeling. It's our first [mumble] president."

Identifying people by skin color is ridiculous really. Skin is an organ, after all. And the only color melanin produces is varying shades of brown. Let's use eye color and then no one would be offended.

She didn't say 'colored'. I played this back three times. Sounds more like 'voted' or 'coded'. Whatever, there was no 'R' sound in that adjective. I think most people hear 'colored' because they personally either don't like Lohan or because they just wanted to join the mob of other haters. I like her in movies, she's a good actress, but she clearly does not like playing the Hollywood game. Back in the olden days, the studio bosses would have treated her the way they did Marilyn, Frances Farmer, Jean Seberg, and similar stars who consistently bucked the system. You folks should be admiring this kid, not trashing her.

Who cares what Lindsay Lohan said whether it was colored or good or whatever...
It's clear she's happy about it & that should pretty much be that. People misspeak every day. if it happens to be a star it doesn't mean we have a right to ridicule them for it.
The election is over Obama won. We'll all be relieved once Bush is gone & Obama's sworn in. Can we all just breathe for a couple weeks now???

look....some people say african american and some say black.....not many say colored but I said it before i knew better (back when I transferred into a new high school). I said "my old high school did not have any colored students" to my first my black/AA friend and he quickly told me that no one says colored anymore and that just say black. Also, I came from an all white high school into a mixed high school and had never known a single black person. In fact, in my country high school we had a AA kid who was a foster kid and the other kids ran him out of the school. One of the white kids drew a noose (sp?) around the child's head in the AA kids yearbook with whiteout.... sad but true. This was around 1992.

Also, I know a south african white ER doc that told me never to call anyone african american because he is african american and therefore it is a misnomer and that he is white, others are black, hispanic, chinese, etc... So i dont know who is right but black seems to be okay and may be even better than AA and obviously better than colored.

I think this is just a smear on Lindsey Lohan. The paparazzi went after her and she didn't want to play and kind of dropped out, so they are trying to smear her. I don't have a dog in the fight , but I think they are treating her unfairly because she dropped back when they were harrassing her and won the battle. So they are trying to end her career . She is a talented actress. Hollywood paparazzi are pretty nasty and self-serving.

It's like that scene from "All in the Family" when Archie says colored people and Mike replies " The proper term is people of color" and Archie says" yeah that's what I said, colored people". The networks could never put a program like that on these days.
