Piper Palin Wears High Heels On "Today" Show (VIDEO)

Exactly one week after the election and her return to Alaska, 7-year-old Piper Palin was ready for her close-up on Tuesday's "Today" Show and wore the sassy outfit to prove it. As her mom made salmon and halibut casserole and talked to Matt Lauer, Piper shuffled around the kitchen wearing an "I Love New York" t-shirt and high heels while holding baby brother Trig. Oh for God's sake. One of my favorite things to do as a little girl was dress up and wear high heels. My mom was a great mom. This is so stupid. Piper Palin is an adorable little girl. I'm sure the Obama girls like to dress up, they just don't do it in public.

I'm not going to say Sarah Palin is a bad mother necessarily, however, I would say letting your 7 year old wear heels is not very "conservative". My mother, die hard liberal, would NEVER allow me to wear heels at that age. Go figure.

Dont worry about their kids not being in school. You dont know what they may have done. Maybe they spoke with the school officails and agreed to some home schooling and periodicle testing. I dunno but it could happen.

believe me when I say I do not like Sarah Palin. But I am a mom and I know these kids (little girls) LOVE to where heels in the same way little boys want to shave or wear their dads cloths. AND, they (the Palins) were still in their home. It's not like they went out to an interview and the kid had the heels on.

I promised my then 10 year old that she could wear heels when she turned 16. ONLY BECAUSE that seemed so far away. But now she's 14 now and remembers and is planning. OMG - So I will get her something low when shes 16. So I wont hold this against Sarah. There is so much more to hold against her. This isnt it.
