The McLaughlin Group is Saturday morning cartoons for me. The panelists are so raucous that the result is pure hilarity. My wife, who didn't follow the news much until we got married, loves imitating McLaughlin's signoff at the end of the show. As much as Buchanan rudely interrupts Clift whenever she's speaking, there seems to be a certain amount of grudging respect between them. I get the impression, though, that Clift and Crowley genuinely dislike each other. The show needed a youth injection, and McLaughlin needed someone as right-wing and more photogenic than Buchanan, so Crowley got the nod. She does strike me as crass, despite the midly attractive package and her ability to talk a good game. It's too bad Michelle Bernard isn't faster on her feet. I'd have preferred her to be the regular younger female on the show, as she seems relatively open-minded and centrist, as opposed to being Anne Coulter lite, which is what Crowley is.
McLaughlin is a sucker for a young, hot female. I have that from a credible source. this is not to say that I am not a sucker as well
Monica recently joined the crew on McLaughlin Group and I have to say she annoys the he// out of me!
That's only because she's an absolute know-nothing. I watched her several weeks ago and everything she said was incorrect. And, she has apparently had a lot of cosmetic surgery done, because she looks nothing like what she did a few years ago.

Yes well my husband and I are at opposite ends of the spectrum politically and it works,however we don't speak on television each night. He did vote for Obama this year...he thinks the Republican ideaology is a thing of the past, I agree but new that much sooner than he did.
Monica Crowley is another right wing insane person. I listen to her for short periods of time but I can't get through the whole thing because there isn't anything more discouraging to me than a woman who buys into the oppression of the far right.

Quite suspicious, I have alway wondered why Colmes was such a weak counter to Hannity, it's now becoming clear. He is actually a conservative posing as a progressive for FOX.
That's exactly what I'm thinking. It's all an act.
A few years from now he'll publicly "convert" (if they give him his own show) and we'll look back on this moment to realize he was pretending all along.

I've always suspected that and now I do even more so.
I listen to his radio show on the New York Air America affiliate and I don't get that sense at all. In fact, he's nearly as curt and bombastic as Hannity when he's flying solo. However, I note that a lot of his callers are conservatives - not the typical Air America or left wing radio audience.
Alan Colmes is wimpy, wimpy, wimpy; Rachael Maddow, as sweet as she is, has more liberals b*alls than Alan Colmes.
Holmes is like Hannity's pet human. Sheesh cash out dude and rejoin the race.
