New York Times:

At the request of members of a Congressional committee, the online auction site eBay and its subsidiaries have agreed to ban the sale of tickets to the inauguration.

Wow, E-Bay finally has a concious.....unbelievable. E-Bay recently allowed an Israeli thief named Meir Bizanski who raided their National Library monthly for years and stole hundreds of documents to remain an active seller for months after his arrest. He sold tons of the material on their site at high prices and great profits for them. (See New York Times Article: "Jerusalem Journal Israel Fears a Thief Stole Bits of Its Musical Legacy" - 8/19/08) E-Bay is generally slow to react to anything...........glad to hear they are finally waking up.,

I bet what helped them make the decision to stop the sale of the tickets was the fear of a possible laswsuit from the US government, and not really having a conscience.
