The Atlantic's Marc Ambinder reports that Katie Couric's interview with Joe Lieberman will be airing Wednesday night on the CBS Evening News at 6:30 pm ET.

What a bunch of partisian hacks! He doesn't tow the party line so you throw him under the bus? Why do you think he still caucases with the Democrats? Because he is one! It takes reaching accross the aisle to get anything done. Lieberman is one of the few that actually do it and you demonize him for it. Typical.

Partisan you mean? Doesn't tow the party line? Is that how you describe it? NO! Lieberman made promises to work to elect a Democratic majority and a Democratic president. He then reneged on those promises but that's not the end of it. He lied and made exaggerated claims about Barack Obama and Democrats running for the House and Senate. Stating that a sixty seat Democratic majority would be bad for America! But more important, is the fact that he did nothing as chair of the Homeland Security Committee. For those reasons he should have lost his chair. He threatened to jump over to the Republican party if he lost his chair and far from throwing him under the bus, the Democrats caved to his threats. No one threw Lieberman under the bus. He threw the Democrats under the bus. One more point: if he ran for re-election today, he would lose.

Well here's the test for Couric...Palin was a gift. Either she asks him about his specific attacks on Obama or not. She's either a journalist or not. We'll see but I won't be surprised if she gives traitorous Droopy Dawg a pass, just like she did Bush before he invaded Iraq by lying to America and the world. DOn't blow it Katie.
