Pete Wentz's Nude Photo Lament: Manscaping

In the December issue of Elle, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz talks about the nude photos of himself that leaked online last year.

From the Q&A:

ELLE: Like millions of others, I've seen these photos. But if a picture of your penis is going to get leaked online, you could do much worse than yours.

PW: Oh, thank you. I appreciate that. But at the time, I wanted to find a cave and hang out there for the rest of my life and be a cave painter and eat dirt.

ELLE: I don't want you to think I lingered on the photo, but I did notice that you looked groomed down there.

PW: The manscaping? Honestly, I felt slightly overgrown in those pictures. If I had taken them for public consumption, I would have done it differently - groomed a little closer, better lighting.

ELLE: So-called guyliner: What are the most common mistakes?

PW: Wearing it to the point where people only recognize you as 'that guy who wear eyeliner.' I don't really wear it anymore because of that.

He is currently awaiting the birth of his first child with wife Ashlee Simpson.

His phone was stolen and these were for his girlfriend at the time. I hate the band with a violent, bloody passion, but I got to see the photos - they were spread like wildfire online, my fave one was someone who spliced in a pretty background with all of them (there are four, from barely peeking out to full out and groping, a nice sequence, lol) and the lyrics to that godawful "Baby We're Going Down" song - and for a scrawny emo kid they ain't half bad. Even if he really needs to find a better tattooist.

Music still sucks, though.

I like Pete. He's alright. He can have a great sense of humour. He didn't leak the photos. His blackberry thing was stolen. I'm just glad this has never happened to me.

Maybe if Pete spent half as much time writing decent music as he does sculpting his stuff, then perhaps he'd have music that isn't so annoyingly disposable.

Maybe I will go live in a nunnery or a burka place if it means I don't see Ashley and Pete and all their mediocre friends again. How much will they get for the baby pictures? I think JLo's twins got $7 million.

Here's a few photos or files I might want to see: Pete getting his ugly hair buzzed off. Ashley getting her nose put back the way it was. Ashley's plastic surgery bills. Both of them retiring permanently from Show Biz.

There's nothing wrong with auto-eroticism. But when pictures escape from that context then it becomes auto-stupidity. They become meaningless. PW keep it in you pants, unless you are having an auto-pleasuring moment. Even then keep it to yourself.
