Brad Pitt On Oprah: Kid Stories, Angelina And Happiness (VIDEO)

Brad Pitt sat down with Oprah two weeks ago, and the episode, excerpted earlier, finally aired on Wednesday. On the show, which he did to promote the upcoming "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," Pitt talked about how funny his kids are, imitating Shiloh screaming and Zahara holding dog poop, how his life has changed, kiddie slumber parties and what life is like as a father of six and so much more.

The pair also swapped a story about seeing each other over the summer when Pitt had two cell phones and a beeper on as he awaited the birth of his new twins.

He said of fatherhood, "It really tells you a lot about yourself and who you are and how you react to things... They make me better. They make me a better person as a father." Asked which of his six children is the funniest, Pitt says, "They all have their own thing. They don't mean to be funny."

I haven't followed Brad Pitt much in terms of his career but I will say he seems much more comfortable in his skin than ever before. I remember watching Brad's one-on-one interviews from years ago and they were always somewhat uncomfortable to watch b/c he always seemed camera shy or uncertain of himself. But not anymore! Now he has a sense of confidence that is so beautiful to watch. It's what happens when a person finds meaning and purpose in their lives. It's a beautiful thing.

i don't think we should demonize jen for not having kids. thats like saying women are only good if they can be a child making machine. none of us know what happened but its fair to say that they didn't feel that their marriage had a healthy future. a marriage fails because of two people and not one. to blame jen for not having children is inaccurate and sexi st.

It is fairly public knowledge that Pitt divorced Aniston because he wanted a family and she wasn't ready.

It's not a crack about her being a baby machine it is a fact of life. Women ( I am one btw) are too quick to call comments like the about sexist when they aren't.

Let me see if I have this right: 1 child plays with dulled knives. 1 child pees on furniture. 1 child walks around with dog crap on her hand (and Pitt sends the 3 year old off to wash her hand herself while I would be like a woman possessed washing that child's hand clean of bacteria and god knows what else.)

Their PR machine would work much better if Pitt and Jolie would keep their mouths shut.

Yep BigMike75, it's a definite Jen thang, and it's the same 3 or 4 posters obsessed with it if you notice. Kinda scary, and seriously over the top in every thread Huff puts up about the couple.

Anyway I agree about the work Joie-Pitt do along with Afleck, Cheadle, Key's, Bono, Theron and a bunch more. It's wonderful that they all truly use what they've been blessed with to not only bring attention to causes, but they get in there and roll up their sleeves and open up their wallets too.

Actually, BigMike75, it is more an amusement angle then wrought emotions. I daresay there is not much emotion involved on the part of those who don't care particularly for Brad and Angelina. We are amusing ourselves. However, I cannot speak for those who adore the couple.

yes bigmike, i noticed that too as if they know these people personally. i for one do not think their charity work is for publicity. i find that their intent is genuine in helping those less fortunate than them. their adoption of kids from around the world is a genuine commitment to the causes they support. its not like they can send the kids back where they came from. they are committed to their children and to me thats very admirable. unfortunately the press hounds them for every little bit of information. they have used it to their advantage by taking the press to a cause that they are supporting to use their celebrity status to create awareness. i guess some of us are too jaded by celebrities to assume that any good can come out of their actions outside the movies they make.

He looks really happy. Why do some people act like they know him, all about the their pasts, the nature of his past relationship. these people live there lives in front of the camera. It is there choice.,,,all the family pictures published to sell themselves and keep themselves at the top of the celeberty food chain. If that isn't self-absorbed i don't know what is!

As for the Brad and Angelina thing, I think it's understandable to fall in love, but I think they handled it terribly and callously. Both of them were awful (and dishonest), it just points to how me-me-me they are.

If you were followed by people with cameras 24/7 wanting pictures and a story - to some extent you would cooperate in hopes that it would ease up some. Fighting it is very difficult. Brad, Angie and most of the stars do not court the press they are there and that is how it is. There are a few that do set it up, but many of the very big stars do not. So it is pretty smart of the ones with causes to then use the press to get across their messages.

The "self absorbed me me me world that is Hollywood" seems to be turning out quite a few activist these days: Tim Robbins, Stephen Spielberg, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, L. Dicaprio, just to name a few. The PittifulJolies have no edge on that market, except to announce every nuance and blip from their lives to a nauseating degree. "Look at me", they shout. "I have a million children and do such wonderful things!"
