Home Depot Founder: Retailers Who Don't Support GOP "Should Be Shot"

This is what Home Depot's founder Bernie Marcus said on a conference call yesterday:

"If a retailer has not gotten involved with this, if he has not spent money on this election, if he has not sent money to Norm Coleman and these other guys," Mr. Marcus said, apparently referring to Republican senators facing tough re-election fights, then those retailers "should be shot; should be thrown out of their goddamn jobs."

It's nice to know Home Depot supports the death penalty for not supporting their politics. The coming EFCA fight is going to be bloody.

I left his cheap ass company back in July. When I left, HD's sales were already in the toilet. They treat and pay the workers like crap. Now I know why.

BErnie Marcus obviously is having great difficulties in growing old gracefully, it may be time to reserve -specially for bernie- a room with mattresses on all four walls..all the monies he has reportedly donated for good causes don't cover up the sad fact that a fool with much too much money , and not too much brain activity, is a danger to society...­Perhaps four men in white coats can come and pick him up in a straight jacket and cart him off to a happy home where he could take up knitting or some other therapy for him....Poo­r guy...

So it's worth it now to take the detour.

I never was a big fan of Home Depot.....­..... but now this is even more reason to walk on over to Lowes or Dixieline.­..... I don't need to spend my money at Home Depot that's for sure.
