Fox's O'Reilly Labels DeGeneres 'PInhead' For Miley Cyrus Interview

It feels weak to keep repeating the joke that an anagram for the title of Bill O'Reilly's new book (A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity) is "a shameful, bona fide hypocrite" -- but gosh darn it! Things just keep on reminding me of the irony! Take last night's "Pinheads or Patriots" section of his eponymous newscast, where O'Reilly leveled the "pinhead" criticism at TV show host Ellen DeGeneres for attempting to draw out pop music star Miley Cyrus on her boyfriend. Provided you aren't deathly allergic to the sound of teenage giggling, no one was harmed during the interview, but O'Reilly still finds fault, saying at the end, "Hey, Ellen, the girl is fifteen, we don't need to know about her private life, don't be a pinhead."

And hey! Maybe we don't need to know about Miley Cyrus' private life! But that doesn't stop O'Reilly from running lengthy clips of the same interview, thus satisfying the curiosity of anyone with a prurient interest in Cyrus' private life! Way to have your cake and eat it too!

Really, the whole matter is best augmented by going to watch this video on Fox's site, where the video comes with the caption: "Miley Cyrus: Pinhead or Patriot?" Looks like somebody wanted the viewer to pre-suppose it would be her behavior subject to judgment.
